Az aradi Szabadság-szobor újraavatásának 20. évfordulóját ünnepelték

from Aradi Hírek – audio csatorna · host Aradi Hírek

Az aradi Szabadság-szobor húsz évvel ezelőtti újbóli köztéri állítása a román–magyar együttműködés jó példája volt, egyúttal megmutatta Arad európai szellemiségét, már Románia uniós csatlakozása előtt – hangoztatták a szónokok azon a szombat esti ünnepségen, amelyet az aradi Román–magyar megbékélés parkjában tartottak abból az alkalomból, hogy 2004. április 25-én ismét felavatták Zala György monumentális szoborcsoportját, az 1849. október 6-án Aradon kivégzett honvédtábornokok emlékművét. Pataky Lehel Zsolt beszámolója az eseményről.
