Baal Worshippers

When hundreds of laws are rushed through without debate, the deeper problem isn’t politicians it’s the people. Many believe salvation comes through legislation, regulation, and state power, crying out to government as if it were their god. Like the prophets of Baal, they expect the state to deliver paradise, but the result is always the same: more laws, more taxes, and less freedom. Scripture reminds us that when men reject the living God, they will always create a substitute. Only when people look to Jesus Christ for salvation not the state will this cycle change. Who you trust to save you determines who rules you.
