Como compositor, Johann Sebastian Bach fue un maestro en la reutilización de fragmentos de su música. Este compositor recomponía y exponía su material musical favorito en muchas de sus obras y contextos musicales diferentes. Una prueba de que éste gran compositor barroco se mantiene aún vigente es que podemos encontrar parte de sus composiciones en algunas de las piezas más populares de los últimos 60 años. Así, en un artículo publicado en el sitio web de Classicfm encontramos que algunas canciones muy recientes pertenecientes a diversos géneros de la música se inspiran en obras de Bach. Sin duda a él le habría encantado saber que 300 años después, sus notas e ideas todavía se están abriendo camino en la música más popular del mundo. Hoy escucharemos un fragmento de la pieza del rapero brasileño MC Fioti: ‘Bum Bum Tam Tam’ que se inspira en la Allemande de la Partita en La menor para flauta BWV 1013 de Bach, al que le sigue la composición original interpretada por Kate Clark en una flauta barroca.
