We’re going back to the basics! Dr. Michael Morgan PT, DPT, OCS highlights an experience that reminds us why mastering the basics might be the most advanced thing you can do. Michael Morgan PT, DPT, OCS is an Assistant Clinical Professor within the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training at Northern Arizona University (NAU) based out of the Phoenix Bioscience Core (PBC). Dr. Morgan has been a practicing physical therapist since 2013 providing physical therapy services in outpatient orthopedics and occupational health settings. He is an ABPTS Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) and has completed advanced certifications in manual therapy, dry needling, blood flow restriction, ultrasound imaging, and is an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor. He is actively involved in the American Physical Therapy Association Orthopedic and Education sections. His scholarship is focused on analyzing the benefits of early access to physical therapy services in occupational healthcare, ultrasound imaging, and student outcomes within a competency-based education model. Dr. Morgan is passionate about teaching anatomy, biomechanics, musculoskeletal, and vestibular material.
