Back to the Basics: Being with Jesus
from This Present Truth
Every person called into discipleship is first called to be with Jesus. Many want to come into discipleship for things, gifts and anointings. A gift will not last if you do not have the life to sustain it. It is not to preach or do works, but to sit down at the feet of Jesus and learn of Him. Only when you've sat down to learn can you take the practical step in taking the yoke of Christ. The goal of discipleship is to become like Jesus. It is through being with Him that we can learn and be trained to become like Him. Every convert must become a disciple. Every disciple must be converted to the image and likeness of Christ. This is what God set out for us when He sent His Son. It is our willing choice that will determine who we will or will not become. Thank you for joining us for this episode.
