Founded by Nick Cubley in 2009, what originally started as a music blog, quickly mushroomed into a regular party in their home city. Joined by friend Dave Lovenbury, the duo soon became a trio, thanks to local musical luminary Danny Potts, who was rescued from the ashes of the infamous Suono parties he had been a part of for the previous 8 years. The three mates began hosting parties that reflected the true Balearic spirit of eclecticism, a lack of pretension and a move away from the ‘four to the floor’ dominated scene around their city. In recent times the group have played host to the likes of Balearic goliaths Moonboots & Phil Mison in the beautiful setting of Tynemouth’s Surf Café, as well as gigging up and down the UK, including playing alongside Nancy Noise at the inaugural Passport To Paradise party in Leeds, and a recent guest slot at longstanding Manchester institution, Aficionado.
