Ban The Box and The EEOC Many of our listeners know about the local Ban the Box efforts. KCMO, KCKS, and the state of Missouri have some kind of law or ordinance that requires removing the "have you ever been convicted of a felony" box on employment applications for government jobs. Today we learn about the Federal laws and how the EEOC enforces them. Host Nancy Leazer talks with Teresa Wilke an EEOC investigator about helping those who feel they have been discriminated against for their past. It is not as clear cut as one might imagine and navigating the system takes some help.
