Some if it was written in a tent during a rainstorm. This rainstorm lasted three days and was non-stop. Leaving the island on which George, Marc and Richard had camped was wet and hazardous. This song is about an experience with LSD. At One was performed live many times by Rough Terrain. Andy would do a funny Scottish dance during the change to 6/8 in the long instrumental section. This moment became an integral part of the Rough Terrain set. Other time signatures are 5/8 and 13/8, which the Boss DR55 couldn't handle.
