Fun Facts: This is not a particularly serious song In fact, it is rather fun, in a typically teenage way. The sentiments within may be true, but this song is done as a parody or caricature. I Hate You is a punk song in the key of A. "I really cannot be dealing with your incessant mind-numbing foolishness any more, begone" is arguably not as good a title for a song. The guitar was the first thing laid down, in one take, with a little improvised solo. The vocal also was probably first take.
