Some of the inspiration for it came from somebody who played the same song every week at Topsham Folk Club, when Lemming Meringue played there. Due to the time of year, George made it into a Christmas song. As he has a profound dislike for Christmas songs in general, he regrets doing so. The tambourine was Ken's.
