The chorus remains, but the three verses were discarded due to being "too vomit-inducingly yucky". Instead the guitar plays the vocal melody. The song was shortened to a single instrumental verse. Loving You is in the key of C major. The guitar is played through an EHX Electric Mistress and Guyatone Analogue Delay. The lead guitar also has a Boss OC2 Octaver. The amplifier is a transistor, an HH 5-Channel PA, with reverb.
