It was loosely based on the computer game Wizardry by Andrew Greenberg and Robert Woodhead. The software title was a huge and groundbreaking success on the Apple II in 1982. The music for several more of the songs was composed in the early summer of 1983. The lyrics for the concept album songs came later - some in the summer of '83 and more in the following months and years. Seven Stars received something of a re-write in the lyric department in 1987.
