Fun Facts: The rhythm guitar is the source of the song and is played through a Hohner HFX Instant Funk pedal. This song is based on a true story involving the wrong girl at a school disco. At a school disco in the autumn of 1982, George was a gatecrasher because he had just left school and started at Exeter College. Simon was rather fond of a particular girl called Kate. George found Kate, took her by the hand with a cheeky smile, and persuaded her to sit on Simon's knee and give him a snuggle. Unfortunately, it was the wrong Kate. The name 'Teel' comes from the last two letter of the name Kate and the first two letters of the wrong girl's surname. The name 'Lert' came from an occasion when several people were signing a 'thank you' card for a teacher using fictitious names and scribbled signatures.
