There is a guitar solo towards the end that was composed along with the rest of the song. George wrote this about his younger sister, who is an extreme narcissistic sociopath, and with whom he had a terrible relationship which was never reconciled. The Drain Song was never performed by any band George was in due to being "too heavy".
