George found it difficult to deal with the loss of various friends who had moved away. He decided to write to them, including his muse, to whom he sent a special package with tape as well as a letter. George wanted the package to arrive on May 23rd, as he had discovered the 'rule of fives', and that might be a cosmic date for such a thing to plop through a letterbox. This song was written a day or two before the mail-out. It was not clear if the package ever reached its recipient, but it was not returned, so perhaps it did.
