What does the apostle Peter mean when he says "baptism now saves you"? For so many evangelicals today, such language can be disconcerting and disturbing as baptism is considered a mere sign of conversion. The Bible tells us that baptism is not just an empty sign of salvation, since God is at work in the sacraments.
