The horizon does not fall — it simply begins, slowly, to lose its authority. :::SHIFTING PATTERNS turns its attention to the structure itself. Patterns shift, repetitions lose their former coordinates, familiar elements appear slightly earlier or slightly later than they should. The music does not break the system — it makes the system question its own memory. :::ZWISCHENRAUM is the German word for the space in between. Here, it becomes an almost physical location: neither point A nor point B, but that strange distance where usually nothing happens. Bardia Salour places the sound precisely there.
