C.S. Lewis's The Last Battle St. Philip's Church: Charleston, SC Come join us on Wednesday nights as we explore the riches of C.S. Lewis’s marvelous book The Last Battle, which is the last of The Chronicles of Narnia. It is a remarkable book on multiple levels and was awarded the Carnegie Medal back in the 1950s when it was first published. The Last Battle has some themes in common with The Great Divorce and That Hideous Strength that will make it an excellent follow-up to those two books, and like them, it has some remarkable resonance with things going on in today’s culture. It is a book that is both theologically rich and poignantly beautiful in its writing, and it can help equip us to live boldly for Christ in a culture that has lost its way. (Although this book is the last of The Chronicles of Narnia, it can stand on its own and it is not necessary to have read the other books for this class.) 2 Nerds With 1 Stone Rowan and Dyandre 2 nerds, Rowan and Dyandre, congregate in Rowan’s basement to discuss all of nerdology. Tune in often for sporadic updates on all the things you love to nerd out about. Available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts. The Tom and Jack Podcast Tom & Jack Hello! Here's a summary of what we do.In the style of classic entertainment radio show, out of work radio hosts Tom & Jack broadcast from Tom's basement. They discuss the weird and wonderful happenings of their mundane lives. They were born into a world they don't understand and doesn't understand them. They're lashing out. Whether it be successfully applying for the Apprentice or setting up a new gym where bigger boys aren't allowed, it's never dull (apart from all the time when it, lamentably, is).
