We are talking all about the latest DCU animated movie of Batman The Long Halloween Part 1. These films seem to be getting cranked out with it only being like a month since Justice Society WW2 coming out. And just about another month till Part 2 of TLH returns. So, at least we won't have to wait too long. But getting back to the flick, based on the classic Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale book about a Holiday Killer making a mark on the crime families of Gotham. Leading into a culture clash of the old school mobsters and the new super villains moving in. This is one of those great gateway comics for anyone looking to start getting deeper into the Batman universe. The movie holds up well to the book too, though since it's part 1 it's more of the setup piece. But great nonetheless. With it's own twists, turns, and style to separate it from the original.
