In this second part of their conversation, Dr. Buzby is joined by Dr. Ralph Harvey, veteran professor in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in Knoxville, Tennessee, to discuss his wisdom and experience assessing and managing pain in dogs and the continuum of fear, anxiety, stress, and pain that we must address to be truly successful in helping painful dogs. Dr. Harvey is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia, and is a member of the Fear-Free Executive Council. He focuses his practice and teaching on pain management and anesthesia.
