In this episode, host Sandy Webster chats with Kia Williams, who, among many roles in the industry, is the full-time studio manager for Life Time, Inc, in Chicago. Kia earned her master’s degree in Sports Management, and applies it across a wide variety of leadership roles in the industry, including as a global education presenter for Savvier Fitness, Barre Above, Balletone and Fluid Strength. She also is an IDEA presenter and author who serves as the Wellness Chair for the NAACP Tarrant County Branch, and Executive Board Member of Jeremiah 33:6, a not-for-profit holistic health education and preventive medicine corporation. Kia transfers her skill set to mentor young professionals, support multicultural engagement, and to make fitness accessible, inclusive and feasible for the masses. A justice, equity, diversity and inclusion advocate, Kia's career mission is to support people who are affected by marginalization in jobs, education, healthcare and lack of representation in the fitness industry.
