Why would United States Senators sign into law, a bill that combats the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanction (BDS) movement this past May 2023? Probably because BDS works. What is it and why does it matter so much to our lawmakers and to all Americans? While we find out, let’s ask ourselves, “Why do we consider Rosa Parks a momshero?”
States led the way in passing anti BDS laws, and have been doing so for years. Returning to the podcast is Bahia Amawi, a mom who was scheduled WAY BEFORE October to speak with us. This episode was recorded just after October 7th and since then, the world is witnessing what’s happened.
Bahia Amawi lost her job overnight when she refused to sign an employment contract with a school district that stipulated she would maintain an anti BDS stance. As a Palestinian and mom, she fought the state and came to us at that time when the ruling was pending. Find out what happened and where you can catch her right now on the screen.
