Wenn mein Gast Johannes Klan aufschlägt, ist die Filmauswahl immer (nahezu) unantastbar gut. Mit dem in hiesigen Gefilden irrsinnigerweise A Beautiful Day betitelten vierten Film von Lynne Ramsay, You Were Never Really Here (2017), hat er allerdings einen harten Brocken im Gepäck. Ist der kurze, unbarmherzige Thriller nun große Kunst im Gewand des Vulgärkinos, oder hat sich die schottische Regisseurin beim Versuch der filmischen Grenzüberschreitung verhoben? Johannes hat gute Argumente für ersteres und ich bin zumindest gewillt, diesen zu lauschen. Nur als Joaquin-Phoenix-Fanboy durfte ich ihn nicht bezeichnen. Ansonsten hätte er mit Sicherheit seinen Hammer aus der Tasche geholt…
