Irgendwas hat mein Gast Udo Fischer (Die Nostromo-Gespräche) da falsch verstanden als er glaubte, er könne mit einem Filmgespräch über MYSTOR - DER TODESJÄGER 2 (1987) mein Herz gewinnen. Denn nein, der Babarenschlock kann bei mir so gar keinen Stich machen. Ganz anders als bei Udo, der sich hoffnungslos in die Albernheiten des späten Corman-Sequels verguckt hat. Immerhin schlagen unsere Herzen für PUMPKINHEAD II: BLOOD WINGS (1994) des wunderbaren Jeff Burr (1963-2023) im Einklang. Denn der Nachfolger zum "Halloween-Monster" hat zwar weniger Pathos an Bord, dafür aber gute Tricks und manch bitterböse Überraschung. Wir sind verzückt!
