We discover that witches understand this and like to “pollinate” things too, by reading the Witches’ Chant from Macbeth. Was it white magic or black magic that the witches were involved with? Certainly it was black magic, given the ingredients. We left out a few lines too, which we didn’t need to include for young children to understand that these witches were bad! The Witches’ Chant is an important observation point in the show, please do ask your young children what they think! In this episode we talk about the apple tree and how they require magic and interaction from other living things.... pollinators.
