Before the World Wakes Ep. 174
from Drive Time with Matt Hosted by Matt Smith
Before the World Wakes Up | His Mercies Are New Every Morning Ever notice how beautiful the world can be before everybody wakes up? In this episode of Drive Time with Matt, I’m sharing something I’ve come to appreciate during my early-morning commute: watching the sunrise in my rearview mirror, seeing the first rays of sunlight hit the changing fall leaves, and taking in those quiet moments before the busyness of the day begins. Those simple moments remind me of a powerful truth found in Lamentations 3:22–23: “They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Yesterday may have been difficult. You might be carrying worries, regrets, disappointments, or questions you haven’t figured out yet. But God’s faithfulness hasn’t changed, and His mercies haven’t run out. Every morning is another opportunity to trust Him, take the next right step, and recognize the blessings we sometimes overlook in our everyday lives. Join me for a conversation about slowing down, appreciating the season we’re in, letting go of yesterday’s burdens, and finding hope in the simple reminder that God is still at work. The sun is coming up, His mercies are new, and there’s still a lot of good waiting for you on this side of the sunrise. 🎧 Listen, reflect, and remember: life is a journey best taken one mile at a time. #DriveTimeWithMatt #HisMerciesAreNew #GreatIsThyFaithfulness #Faith #ChristianEncouragement #MorningReflection #Lamentations323 #FaithOverFear
