Behind the Scenes of Pandemic Nursing

This week, Natalie is joined by a new friend, Taryn. Taryn began her nursing career on the brink of the COVID-19 Pandemic. She will walk Natalie through the struggles that nurses went through while we were honking our horns to celebrate them. The two women will also have an honest conversation about nurses’ perceived cost to a hospital compared to doctors’ worth to the hospital as well as what happens when lawmakers create laws where a medical practitioner has the power to use their prejudice to delegate what kind of care a patient deserves. We’re all affected by misogyny and the patriarchy and the medical world is no different.
