After the honest, comedic venting, the guest and Natalie will offer up their biggest growth moment from having to tolerate the events they’ve discussed and offer everyone up some great manifestations. Let’s work on a better, inclusive, and safer future for everyone with some radical honesty and less tolerating!Follow us at @menivetoleratedpod on Instagram! Summer Replay: America's Sweethearts and DCC

Natalie is joined by her friend Shanaz to get her thoughts straight on the Netflix docu-series, America’s Sweethearts Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. After a casual watch of the show, Natalie was convinced that DCC and the series was a great work of women supporting other women and her ideal type of feminism. It took a lot of people, including Shanaz, to get her to watch it again and see the sinister misogyny lurking behind the pretty facade. Shanaz and Natalie will talk about a lack of body diversity, low pay, women being in competition with one another, women being a commodity for men, and other ways misogyny presents itself within DCC.How to Support TATMITB:Want more TATMITB content? The Geena Davis Institute

Natalie’s friend, Jessica Toukatly, is on the show today to talk about the important work started by The Geena Davis Institute for Gender and Media. Geena Davis was watching television with her kids one day when she noticed a sharp difference between the amount of lines given to male characters versus the female characters in the show. So she started tallying and collecting data. Jess will go over the ways Geena used her standing in Hollywood to meet with executives to bring light to how little women were being represented in media when it came to their male counterparts. There will also be a discussion on what quality female representation looks like in film, how the institute eventually expanded to collecting data that would represent other marginalized voices’ time on screens, and other women who have pioneered paths forward when it comes to getting women’s stories told. How to Support TATMITB:Want more TATMITB content? The Men of Grey's Anatomy

Natalie is joined by new friend Kristiana to do a bucket list topic! It is finally time to give the men of Grey’s Anatomy the Team Tolerator treatment! They will discuss how the likes of Derek Shepherd and Preston Burke projected a lot of expectations on Meredith and Christina without actually taking into account how both those women would feel about those expectations. There will be a special shout out to George O’Malley and Owen Hunt for treating women like they’re something due to them and not actually investing in who they are as people. And finally, we will discuss how the women of Grey’s Anatomy rose to the occasion to hold their own at Seattle Grace despite how the men of the hospital were treating them.Support the Show:Follow us at @menivetoleratedpod on Instagram! https://www.patreon.com/menivetoleratedpod on Patreon for bonus content! Summer Break: Fair Play and Weaponized Incompetence Replay

Natalie had the pleasure to talk to Laura Danger after being a huge fan of her social media presence on the idea of “weaponized incompetence”. Laura will go over how fair play has a role in healthy expectations and boundaries within your marriage and relationships. Natalie and Laura will also discuss distinct examples that they have witnessed of this idea of weaponized incompetence where your partner gets to just not know how to do something and you pick up that emotional/physical/mental labor. Not only do they find that as a really petty excuse to not be involved in a laborious activity, but they also discover that weaponized ignorance is also at play when it comes to how women are treated within their homes, society, and the world.Follow us at @menivetoleratedpod on Instagram and https://www.patreon.com/menivetoleratedpod on Patreon for bonus content!
