Behold the Lamb: The Tabernacle at Shiloh & The First Disciples (Day 120)

What does it look like to truly encounter the Messiah? Today in the Gospel of John, John the Baptist makes his famous declaration: "Behold, the Lamb of God!" We follow the ripple effect of this announcement as the first disciples—Andrew, Peter, Philip, and Nathanael—begin to follow Jesus. In the Old Testament, the division of the Promised Land continues. We see the daughters of Zelophehad receive their inheritance, and the whole congregation assembles at Shiloh to set up the Tabernacle, marking a new center for the nation’s worship.Today’s Scripture:📖 Joshua 17–18 – The allotment for the remaining half-tribe of Manasseh is detailed, including a landmark ruling for the daughters of Zelophehad. As the tribes settle, the Tabernacle is established at Shiloh. Joshua then chides the remaining seven tribes for their "slackness" in taking possession of their land and sets up a survey team to divide the rest.📖 John 1:29–51 – John the Baptist identifies Jesus as the one who takes away the sin of the world and baptizes with the Holy Spirit.
