Being Comfortable with Being Uncomfortable. JSSELFCARE.ORG

from The JS Self-Care Mind Body & Soul Podcast · host Janell Santana- Sims

How to get Comfortable with Being Uncomfortable I can honestly say many of us prefer the easy road. I know for sure I do. Some of us want to stick with the status Quo, to resist the unknow, to be able to stay in our confront zone. Staying in our confront zone is tied to what we were taught by our elders it’s called the Ancestral drive to Survive. Some of us are super afraid to try something new. Our goal is to avoid change. But we need to understand is that, avoiding change can’t be a goal. The reason is because we won’t push ourselves to the next level if we don’t change things up.
