Being the world

from spiritual principles made practical's podcast · host Scott Friedman

This podcast is in  response to my question, why have I been inspired to have "I am the world" as my mantra. The short answer is, accepting  as much of what is true that we can is the only way to minimize stress and maximize joy, love and peace in our life.  What is true is we are all that exists.  We are not a drop in the ocean, we are the entire ocean.  The idea that we are separate beings is an idea we've created.  The idea exists even though it's false.  We know that some of the thoughts in our mind are not accurate.  The thought that we are separate is one of those inaccurate thoughts. Our familiarity with thinking of ourselves as being separate, doesn't make it true.  At one time people thought the world was flat.  That didn't make it true.   For our own health and well being, we need to accept and align with what is true as completely as we can.
