This teaching challenges believers to move past the worldly system of "seeing is believing" and enter into the divine rest of knowing that if God promised it, it is already done. -- Faith is not just a feeling; it is a "substance" or "confidence" in things hoped for and a literal expectation of what is not yet visible. -- We must avoid being "Thomases" who refuse to believe until they can touch the wounds, because Jesus promised a greater blessing for those who believe without seeing. -- Sarah is a primary example of faith because she "judged Him faithful," meaning she looked at God’s track record and decided He was more reliable than her biological limitations. -- Being faithful means God is unchanging, consistent, and completely devoid of manipulation or trickery across every generation. -- Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law so that we, as Gentiles, could inherit the blessing of Abraham through the Holy Spirit. -- Life doesn't end at the grave because the spirit cannot be killed; it can only be housed, and our choice in this life determines where we are housed for eternity.
