The Word Is the Seed by Melinda Carroll

Every single area of your life operates on the principle of a harvest, but you cannot reap what you have never sown. Join hosts Frank and Bobbie Agee along with Melinda Carroll as they unpack the profound truth that God’s Word is an incorruptible seed meant to be deeply rooted within your heart. From cultivating the soil of your spirit man to understanding the dynamic power of your spoken confession, this episode provides a practical roadmap for moving from a superficial relationship with God into a life overflowing with supernatural fruit. Learn how to activate even the smallest mustard seed of faith so that when the unexpected storms of life rise up, you can stand secure, knowing the Master of the wind. -- Everything in life begins with a seed, and Jesus was the ultimate seed of God, implanted by the Holy Spirit to bring eternal life to all who believe. -- Your heart is the soil, and the Word of God cannot produce results if it remains closed on a coffee table, it must be received, accepted, and meditated upon daily. -- The enemy comes immediately to steal the Word through bad attitudes, the gravelly soil of superficial faith, and the choking thorns of worldly cares and pleasures. -- Spiritual growth requires active daily participation, feeding your spirit man with Scripture is just as vital as eating physical food to keep your body nourished. -- Death and life reside in the power of the tongue, and your daily confession will either align you with God's peace and health or dig a hole of self-condemnation. -- Genuine faith does not require massive human effort, even faith as small as a tiny mustard seed can speak to mountains and command them to move. -- Developing an unshakeable trust in God through communion and His promises, like Psalm 91, shields your life and household from the fiercest literal and spiritual storms. Shocked at the Sentence

A day has been appointed by God to bring the world to judgment. Every person will appear before Jesus, the Christ, and the righteous Judge to answer for the life they lived. Solomon, Jesus, Paul, and other inspired men have promised this would be the case. Despite the many warnings given in the Word of God, however, the Day of Judgment will be a day of shocking revelations for many. In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak, learn why multitudes will be Shocked At The Sentence. ******* Hear more messages and find out more about Oyster Bay Church of Christ in Crawfordville, FL on our website: https://www.oysterbaychurchofchrist.org/ And here: https://pearlsofwisdomonline.org/

You Messed Up Again...Now What? by Pastor Henry Miller

Many of us grow up with the mentality that God is a cosmic judge holding a clipboard, keeping notes on every single mistake we make. But the Scripture paints a completely different picture. In this episode, Pastor Henry Miller dives into the beauty of God's mercy, leniency, and compassion. Using the raw, honest struggles of the Apostle Paul and the dramatic failure and restoration of King David, Pastor Miller reminds us that we do not serve a "one-shot" God. We serve a Heavenly Father whose compassions never fail and whose mercy is brand new every single morning. -- God's mercy means He chooses leniency and refrains from bringing the judgment we actually deserve. -- We all fall short, and even after salvation, we must battle an old nature that struggles with temper, words, and mistakes. -- God uses the "thorns in our flesh" to humble us and constantly remind us of our daily need for His grace. -- Receiving God's mercy requires us to be obedient and willing to extend that same forgiveness to others. -- No matter how catastrophic your failure, God is ready to put away your sin the moment you sincerely repent. The Kingdom of God by Pastor Jack King on Saturday, July 18, 2026

-- The Kingdom of God is a spiritual reality that requires a spiritual awakening to perceive. Just as the disciples were transformed from simple fishermen into men who understood the things of the Spirit, believers today are called to move beyond the natural, carnal way of thinking. -- Jesus taught in parables to hide spiritual truths from the hardened, yet reveal them to those who were willing to listen and grow. The difference between the crowd and the disciples was a commitment to spending time in the presence of Jesus, listening to Him, and letting His Word take root. -- True faith is not a passive "sort of" belief. It is a decisive action. Whether you are at the beginning of your journey or a seasoned believer, you must choose to believe and continue to grow that faith, just like a mustard seed growing into a great tree. -- We must guard our hearts against the "cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches." These are the primary distractions that keep people from the Kingdom. If you love the things of this world more than God, you will eventually find yourself empty, as those treasures cannot follow you into eternity. -- There is a vital, urgent need to recognize that we are living for eternity. Choosing the path of God leads to a glorious future as a joint-heir with Christ, while the path of the world leads only to destruction. The righteous will shine as the sun, but we must choose to walk in the light of God today. Understanding and Navigating the Maze of Healthcare Pricing by Mike Sharman on July 16, 2026

"God hates differing weights and measures, and that is exactly the system that hospitals and health providers generally have." — Mike Sharman Hospital billing is often a chaotic, computerized maze where the same procedure can cost vastly different amounts depending on your insurance provider or even your ability to pay cash. This system, often driven by "contracts of adhesion," puts the burden entirely on the patient. Understanding how these prices are set—and why they differ so drastically—is the first step toward regaining control. -- Hospital care billing is highly inconsistent, with prices determined by your specific insurance provider, the hospital location, and even the day of the week. -- Most hospitals utilize "contracts of adhesion," which are heavily one-sided agreements you are often coerced into signing during a medical emergency without knowing the final price. -- Healthcare sharing ministries operate as a nonprofit community of believers who share medically necessary expenses, often resulting in monthly costs that are significantly lower than traditional insurance premiums. -- By using a transparent, standard pricing model based on Medicare rates, Share HealthCare avoids the complex, unpredictable negotiations that drive up costs for standard insurance plans. -- Membership in a healthcare sharing ministry is not just a financial decision; it serves as a powerful conversation starter for sharing your faith with neighbors who are struggling with the financial strain of the current healthcare system. The Revelation of Christ Jesus - Part 7 by Robert Kornegay

Unlocking Your Kingdom Purpose Many believers view the book of Revelation as a daunting, cryptic puzzle meant only for scholars. However, this message challenges that notion, asserting that the letter was intended to be understood by all. By examining the context of the early church and the symbolic language used, we can move past the confusion and discover the clear message of hope, victory, and responsibility that Christ has for His people. -- The book of Revelation serves to reassure believers that Jesus and His church are ultimately victorious over any opposition. -- Jesus often used parables and symbolic language to conceal truth from those with hardened hearts while revealing it to those with a sincere desire to know God. -- The church is described as a spiritual kingdom, and it is not meant to be defended by worldly, carnal methods, but by imitating the example of Christ. -- A vital part of our identity as believers is being a "kingdom of priests," which means we are set apart to represent God to the world through our conduct and character. -- Our reluctance to fully embrace the kingdom often stems from a battle between immediate, worldly rewards and the long-term, eternal perspective of God’s glory. Choose Wisely by Pastor Mike Jenkins on Sunday, July 12, 2026

-- Your past does not determine your future when your hope is centered in the gospel of God’s redeeming grace. God does not just want to forgive your past; He wants to use it. -- We all have a "BC" (Before Christ) history filled with mistakes, but in Christ, we become new creatures. God does not just improve our old selves; He transforms us completely. -- When you feel the weight of shame, remember that God’s grace is greater than your failures. Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more. -- Your identity is no longer found in your addiction, your divorce, or your mistakes. Your true identity is found in being "in Christ." -- God specializes in redeeming broken stories. He refuses to let your pain have the final word, and He can even restore the years the locusts have eaten. Don't Let Go by Evangelist Jacqueline Pruitt on Sunday, July 12, 2026

This teaching takes a closer look at the power of determination in our spiritual walk. Instead of viewing our breakthrough as the finish line, Evangelist Jacqueline Pruitt encourages us to use that moment as a launchpad for deeper intimacy with the Father. -- Hold on with determination and intentionality, refusing to loosen your grip just because the pressure has lifted. -- Evaluate the weight you are carrying, whether it is unnecessary people, things, or activities, to ensure you are not acting from the flesh. -- Stay focused on the Giver rather than just the gifts, as the enemy will try to distract your focus when he cannot stop the blessing. -- Understand the difference between losing something, where it is taken from you, and forfeiting something, where you willingly let it go. -- Make the shift from seeking God’s hand for your needs to seeking His face, which allows Him to trust you with His presence. A Tamed Tongue - Part 3 by Pastor Omar Ellison on Sunday, July 12, 2026

Master Your Mouth, Master Your Destiny The words you speak are not merely empty sounds dissolving into the air, they are the literal construction materials for your reality. In this profound teaching, Pastor Omar Ellison breaks down the book of James and the book of Proverbs to expose the spiritual mechanics of human speech. Many believers live under the false assumption that God or the devil holds total control over their daily outcomes. However, Scripture reveals that life and death reside directly in the power of your own tongue. When life puts pressure on you, whatever is hidden in your subconscious will inevitably spill out. Positive thinking is a wonderful trait, but it lacks the spiritual authority to shift a crisis. True faith requires vocal expression. By understanding that the entire kingdom of God operates on a voice activated system, you can stop giving license to hellish influences and start anchoring your life in heavenly decrees. Main Points From the Message: -- The word "tame" means to reclaim from the wilderness or to subdue, which is exactly what the Holy Spirit desires to do with our wild, undisciplined speech. -- Your mouth functions as a steering mechanism for your physical body and your entire life, much like a tiny bit controls a massive horse or a small rudder steers a great ship against fierce winds. -- The tongue acts as a spiritual fountain that should never emit both sweet and bitter water, meaning believers must eliminate negative speech, complaining, and murmuring. -- Heaven and hell both require your legal license to operate in your situation, and you grant that license directly through the words you choose to speak. -- True faith is never silent, as Romans 10 establishes that spiritual breakthrough and salvation require a dynamic combination of believing in the heart and confessing with the mouth. -- God is legally obligated to perform His own words when spoken in faith, allowing you to construct a blessed environment even when your current physical senses see darkness. The Bible in Song – ABC's of Faith - Part 3 - Anchored by Truth - July 14, 2026

What does a catchy children's rhyme have to do with ancient philosophy, the origin of evil, and human freedom? In this episode of Anchored by Truth, hosts Victoria K. and RD Fierro unpack the surprisingly deep theology woven into Crystal Sea’s song, "The ABC’s of Faith." Focusing on a crucial sequence of four letters, they map out how God moves from eternal self-existence to a hands-on ruler of our daily lives. By looking closely at the lyrical progression, this discussion challenges our cultural aversion to kings and authority, revealing that living without godly limits doesn't create freedom, it creates chaos. Whether you are a parent looking for innovative ways to pass along your faith, or a believer wanting to deepen your own grasp of the character of God, this episode offers a refreshing, musically driven anchor for your soul. Key takeaways from this episode include: -- Understanding God’s attribute of aseity, meaning He is entirely self-existent, uncreated, and independent of everything in the universe. -- Exploring the deliberate theological flow from the eternal "I AM" (I), to Jesus coming to earth (J), bringing the kingdom of heaven (K), and establishing His position as our Lord and "boss" (L). -- Why human rebellion against authority makes sense with earthly governments, but fails when applied to the perfect, loving lordship of Jesus Christ. -- Insights from the book Prodigal's Advocate regarding how trying to master our own lives usually results in tyrannizing ourselves through addictions and destructive habits. -- The reality that true freedom is not the license to do whatever we want, but having the supernatural power to do what is right and just. -- The vital importance of using creative mediums like music to impart foundational, orderly biblical truths to children before they face the chaotic temptations of the world. Scriptures for Further Study -- 1 Chronicles 29:11-12 -- Matthew 4:12-17 -- Romans 3:10-12 -- 1 Corinthians 15:45 -- 1 Timothy 2:2 This is episode 377. +++++++ You can find more information here: http://www.crystalseabooks.com/

I Need Self Control?? by Apostle Otis B. Young on Sunday, July 12, 2026

In a culture obsessed with instant gratification and outward giftings, God is calling His people back to foundational spiritual character. Drawing from the book of Nehemiah and Galatians, Apostle Otis B. Young delivers a timely, unfiltered mandate on why the body of Christ must prioritize the fruit of self-control over mere talent. True spiritual maturity is not measured by the loudness of our praise or the fluency of our spiritual language, but by our ability to remain unbothered, disciplined, and unified under pressure. -- We must recognize that the Holy Spirit produces a single, unified fruit of the Spirit that manifests in multiple traits, meaning we cannot claim to walk in love without also walking in discipline. -- God often utilizes intentional delays—working like a crockpot or an oven rather than a microwave—to slowly develop lasting patience and emotional regulation within us. -- True spiritual authority is demonstrated when we choose to dismiss distractions and refuse to retaliate in the flesh, especially when dealing with foolish arguments or difficult people. -- Building a secure spiritual wall requires us to close every gap created by personal agendas, secret sins, and unforgiveness so that the corporate flow of God is not hindered. -- We are called to establish a genuine hedge of protection around our families, leaders, and community members, committing to cover one another in prayer until full recovery takes place. How to Stop Living a Boring Christian Life by Bishop Gary Burd on Sunday, July 12, 2026

Driven by Something Bigger Than Yourself In this powerful message, Bishop Gary Burd shares a lifetime of wisdom on what it truly means to live a life consumed by a transcendent cause. Drawing from his 58 years of ministry and intense cross-country motorcycle journeys, Bishop Burd unpacks the profound spiritual reality of what happens when you stop merely reading the Bible and start mingling your life completely with the Holy Spirit. He challenges the church to wake up from a boring, comfortable, and religious existence, and instead allow God to impregnate them with visions, ideas, and a burning holy compassion that drives them outside the walls of the church to touch a hurting community. -- Every person who crosses your path is a divine appointment ordained by God, requiring us to slow down and notice them. -- A transcendent cause is something given by God that drives you beyond your natural limits, causing you to spend your life and energy in ways you normally wouldn't. -- True intimacy with God means a mingling of lives, which allows the Holy Spirit to impregnate you with His vision, purpose, and ideas. -- Operating out of religious duty without true divine impregnation leads to empty activity and lacks the supernatural compassion needed to effect real change. -- Water baptism is a total surrender and a symbol of dying to your old self-centered nature to emerge as a completely new creation in Christ Jesus. The Jesus Way // That's Crazy // Ryan Kramer

We live our lives laser-focused on our own daily tasks, deadlines, and schedules. But what if our hyper-focus is causing us to miss the very people God has placed directly in front of us? Pulling from the famous "gorilla test" experiment on inattentional blindness, Pastor Ryan Kramer challenges us to look closely at Matthew 9 to see how Jesus trained His disciples. Jesus wasn't just performing jaw-dropping miracles, He was actively reshaping how His followers interact with a broken world. This message outlines three vital transformations that must occur in our hearts if we want to truly live the kingdom life. -- Jesus wants to change what we see by pulling us out of our self-consumed routines so that we stop treating the cashiers, neighbors, and strangers in our paths as mere background noise. -- Jesus wants to change what moves us by softening our media-saturated, callous hearts with a deep, Greek-defined compassion that forces us to let other people's pain interrupt our personal plans. -- Jesus wants to change what we live for by realigning our shifting priorities away from selfish preferences and toward pointing broken, shepherdless people to His grace. False Ideas About Truth - Part 17 - More Questions About Darwinian Evolution by Dr. Joe L. Mott on July 13, 2026

References: (1) Question 8. Does the Cambrian Explosion prove Darwin’s theory of evolution? (2) Darwin predicted that in the fossil record we would find EVIDENCE that life would begin SIMPLY and would progress into BIG DIFFERENCES. But the Cambrian Explosion refutes that prediction and thus DOES NOT SUPPORT DARWIN’s THEORY of evolution. (3) Question 9. Was there a gradual transition from an ape to human? (4) Despite the illustrations in textbooks showing a march of beings in an ascending row that displays a gradual transition from a small chimpanzee to a regular sized ape to an even larger transition figure and eventually to a human, no evidence is offered to support that illustration because it is NOT THERE. Virtually every “missing link” or “find” has turned out to be APE-LIKE and NON HUMAN, not a transition kind of an ape-man. In fact, some so-called “finds” were deliberate HOAXES. (5) Charles Darwin was worried that the fossil record did not show what his theory predicted. In the 6th edition of The Origin of Species he wrote: “Why is not EVERY GEOLOGICAL FORMATION which can be urged and EVERY STRATUM full of such intermediate links? Geology assuredly does not reveal any such finely graduated organic chain; and this is the most obvious and serious OBJECTION which can be urged against the theory.” (6) This means that Darwin’s theory is REFUTED. In EVERY OTHER SCIENTIFIC DOMAIN — in mathematics, physics, chemistry, astronomy, computer science, and perhaps in geology, meteorology, oceanography, and even in philosophy — if such a counterexample is displayed against their theory, then the theory would be abandoned. But not so in Darwinian theory. THAT is NOT SCIENCE; that’s burying your head in the sand and keeping your mind closed. The mind is like a parachute; it only works when it is open. (7) However, if different kinds had been created SEPARATELY, the fossil record should show creatures appearing ABRUPTLY AND FULLY FORMED. That is what the Cambridge Explosion shows. Shouldn’t the general public and the scientific community be open to the possibility of creation? (8) Richard Leakey, in his time the world’s foremost paleoanthropologist, said, “If pressed about man’s ANCESTRY, I would have to UNEQUIVOCALLY SAY that all we have is a HUGE QUESTION MARK. . . . If, further pressed, I would have to state that there is MORE EVIDENCE to suggest an ABRUPT ARRIVAL of man rather than a GRADUAL PROCESS of evolving.” (9) The renowned Harvard paleontologist Stephen Jay Gould wrote in the book Evolution Now: A Century After Darwin edited by John Maynard Smith, p. 140: “The ABSENCE of fossil evidence for INTERMEDIATE STAGES between major transitions in organic design, indeed in our INABILITY, even in our IMAGINATION, to construct functional intermediates in many cases, has been a PERSISTENT AND NAGGING PROBLEM for gradualistic accounts of evolution.” (10) You might recall that Gould is the one who said, “Evolution is a fact, fact, fact.” It seems to me that he should have considered the fossil record before making that comment. If he had, then he should have said, “ Evolution is dubious, dubious, dubious.” This is episode 284.

    God's League by Melinda Carroll

In a world full of cultural compromises, it is easy to mistake knowing about God for actually serving Him. In this powerful broadcast, special guest Melinda Carroll breaks down the reality of spiritual warfare, the narrow gate, and what it means to be fully suited up for God's team. Sharing an incredible personal testimony of a holy prompt in a parking lot, Melinda illustrates how obedience in the small moments can have eternal consequences. This episode is a wake-up call for believers to stop riding the fence, abandon the broad road of worldly destruction, and commit to a lifestyle of true holiness, forgiveness, and daily devotion. Here are the main takeaways from this week's message: -- Choosing God's league requires walking the narrow road, which is often restricted by pressure, rather than taking the easy, broad path of the world. -- True faith requires action and obedience over fleeting feelings, especially when it comes to honoring parents and choosing to fully forgive others. -- Believers cannot compartmentalize their faith by living for the world during the week and expecting to be right with God on Sunday morning. -- Spiritual success requires playing by God's guidelines, running with the Word in your heart, and casting down the works of darkness. The Forgiving Father

Have you done things you are convinced God would never forgive you for? Do you see God as a vengeful deity, treasuring up His wrath to pour out upon you in due time? The Bible warns us in Romans 11 to behold the 'severity of God'. God is holy and just and sin must be punished either on the back of Jesus Christ at Calvary or in our everlasting separation from God in hell. This leaves us at a crossroads in life: to submit to Jesus in obedient faith and thus allow Him to be our Savior, or reject Him and face the terror of God's eternal wrath. God, however, is also portrayed in His word as a Forgiving Father! His love for the sinner is as great as His hatred of sin. In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak, we see the portrait the Bible draws of The Forgiving Father and learn what it means and why it is crucial that we receive the forgiveness of our sins from God. ******* Hear more messages and find out more about Oyster Bay Church of Christ in Crawfordville, FL on our website: https://www.oysterbaychurchofchrist.org/ And here: https://pearlsofwisdomonline.org/

We live in a world that thrives on display, military might, and self-reliance, yet our land is fractured. In this powerful message, Pastor Jack King unpacks the foundational connection between humility and answered prayer, pointing us back to God's timeless promise to Solomon. True revival is not a manufactured emotional high, it is a devastating awareness of our own sin that drives us to our knees in absolute dependence on the Creator. Pastor Jack challenges us to stop hiding behind our pride, whether that means confronting decades-old hidden sins or repenting of national arrogance. By examining the ultimate model of humility, Jesus Christ, we learn what it truly means to empty ourselves so that God can move. Main Points Include: -- The Solomon Era Covenant: Understanding the historic moment when God promised to hear from heaven, forgive sin, and heal the land, contrasted with His stern warnings against idolatry. -- The Two Ways to Pray: Contrasting the loud, performance-based prayer of the prideful with the quiet, genuine connection of a heart that simply desires God. -- The Definition of Sin: Recognizing sin as active rebellion against God and understanding how the overarching theme of Scripture is the ultimate redemption of mankind. -- Christ as the Standard of Humility: How Jesus laid down His deity to take on humanity, enduring the indignities of the cross to rescue us. -- The Battle for the Soulish Realm: How the enemy tries to keep humans operating strictly in their carnal minds, preventing the God-breathed spirit within us from seeking the Father. -- The Danger of National Arrogance: A warning to America and modern nations against trusting in military might, tanks, and airplanes instead of relying on the living God. The Secret to Unlocking Kingdom Provision by Dr. Edith Davis on July 10, 2026

What does it truly mean to be the bride of Christ? In this episode of Enter the Glory Zone, Dr. Edith Davis breaks down the structural authority God has given to human beings on Earth and why our souls must align with our spirits to see genuine kingdom power. Dr. Davis shares transparent, real-world examples from her own "miracle summer," revealing how she had to repent for a lack of stewardship and then immediately put a demand on the Word of God when her bank account plummeted to just 18 cents. -- Dr. Davis explains the difference between being valuable to God and being useful to Him, noting that while every human is valuable, usefulness requires a renewed mind and a soul aligned with the Spirit. -- She redefines our human makeup from a "tri-part entity" to a "threefold creation" consisting of the spirit (the command center), the soul (the servant), and the body (the slave), explaining that the soul is the crucial linchpin that decides the direction of our lives. -- The episode details the reality of spiritual testing, showing that a believer's true convictions are only revealed when circumstances require faith to speak and act. -- Dr. Davis shares the miraculous financial breakthrough that occurred while she was on the phone with her close friends, proving that God does not need elite, worldly connections to distribute His provision. -- She introduces the divine assignment behind her scientifically validated "micro spiral curriculum," a methodology designed to overcome absenteeism and loss of instructional time, particularly in STEM subjects like calculus, organic chemistry, and physics. Interrupt the Pattern, Break the Cycle by Prophetess Dr. Ghia Kelly on Sunday, July 5, 2026

Have you ever found yourself trapped in a cycle where the same old situations, heartbreaks, or setbacks keep coming back around? It is incredibly frustrating to watch others step into their blessings while you feel completely paralyzed by your circumstances. In this powerful message, Prophetess Dr. Ghia Kelly teaches that lasting change never starts with a change in our external environment, it begins with a radical shift in our mindset. By analyzing the life of the invalid man at the Pool of Bethesda and the lame beggar at the Gate Beautiful, Dr. Kelly unpacks the distinct difference between a pattern and a cycle. She challenges us to confront our own excuses, address the toxic comfort zones we create around our pain, and recognize the type of relationships that either aid our dysfunction or push us toward destiny. Healing and elevation are within your reach, but it requires a definitive decision to finally get up. Main Points Discovered in This Message: -- Your mindset dictates your reality, and you cannot shift anything in your life until you first shift how you think. -- A pattern is a typical way an event occurs, whereas a cycle is a repeating loop of events that happens in the exact same order. -- Jesus often bypasses our sad stories and excuses because He is looking to stir our faith rather than manipulate our circumstances. -- It is entirely possible to grow so accustomed to chaos and dysfunction that true peace begins to feel unfamiliar and uncomfortable. -- Jesus commanded the healed man to pick up his mat so that he would have absolutely no residue of his past to return to. -- We must surround ourselves with destiny-minded friends who refuse to aid us in our stagnation and instead pull us toward our healing. Salvation Is Real by Pastor Mike Jenkins on Sunday, July 5, 2026

Pastor Mike Jenkins unpacks the multi-layered reasons believers and seekers alike gather on Sunday mornings, focusing heavily on our ultimate need: true salvation. Pulling from his 12 years of Air Force service, he compares the deep sacrifices made for national freedom to the ultimate, unmatched sacrifice Jesus Christ made to free humanity from the curse of death. This message dives straight into tough, uncompromised truths about sin, cultural identity, and moral boundaries, while simultaneously offering the beautiful, healing hope of a just God who justifies us. Pastor Mike challenges the church to step out of the pews, move beyond a consumer-minded faith, and carry the fire of revival directly into the community. -- Every person who walks through the church doors comes with a hungry expectation for a real manifestation of God, whether they fully realize it or not. -- True gratitude stems from recognizing the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, which has already provided for our greatest spiritual needs. -- The church must remain unashamed to preach the literal word of God regarding sin, reminding believers that God is both loving and perfectly just. -- True worship means honoring God exclusively for who He is, rather than treating Him like a cosmic vending machine designed to hand out blessings on demand. -- Believers are called to be active doers of the Word, utilizing their unique gifts and financial resources as responsible stewards to actively advance the Kingdom. -- The gospel of Mark reveals that Jesus was actively preaching the "gospel of the kingdom" as a joyful announcement well before the events of the cross and resurrection took place. Bible Study - Proverbs Chapter 9 by Pastor Omar Ellison

In this episode, Pastor Omar Ellison walks us verse-by-verse through the powerful metaphors of Proverbs 9 to show what happens when we stop being "wise in our own eyes" and fully yield our minds to the Holy Spirit. Building a life of true substance is a process, and it requires handing over the blueprints to the ultimate Craftsman. Pastor Omar breaks down how the Holy Spirit works on our level, corrects us in love, and fills us with a refreshing strength that the enemy cannot defeat. Main points from this teaching include: -- Wisdom builds a solid, stabilized life anchored by seven pillars, creating something beautiful and attractive that draws people naturally. -- True growth requires a process, meaning we must allow the Holy Spirit the time and space to prepare the ground and lay a concrete foundation in our lives. -- The Holy Spirit brings demise to the "beast" of our fleshly cravings and contrary habits, completely cutting off their power. -- God operates like a King, meaning He completely refreshes and furnishes our lives with only the highest quality blessings. -- The ultimate battle for mankind is centered entirely on our thinking, because whatever captures your mind will ultimately capture you. -- The Holy Spirit is a total genius who can get down on any intellectual level, requiring only our time, intimacy, and a willingness to listen. -- A wise person respects and submits to the truth, receiving correction in love and continually increasing in learning as the Word becomes flesh. Using the children's song "The ABC's of Faith" by Crystal Sea 2, they unpack how foundational Biblical principles can be joyfully woven into catchy melodies to guard children's minds against modern cultural influences. The discussion focuses heavily on the letter "I" and the profound theological significance of God’s self-existent name, "I AM." Listeners will gain deep apologetic insights into how God’s character provides answers to life's biggest questions, equipping parents and grandparents to foster a resilient, enduring faith in the next generation. -- Art and music can be used effectively to glorify Jesus Christ and combat the spiritual poison hidden in modern, secular entertainment. -- Teaching children the personal names of God helps them understand His true character, sovereignty, and distinct nature from all other beings. -- God's self-existence, revealed through the Tetragrammaton (YHWH), establishes Him as the uncreated Creator and the uncaused First Cause of the universe. -- A firm understanding of God’s eternal nature equips young Christians with a solid philosophical defense against modern skepticism and secular worldviews. -- The ultimate purpose of human life is to reverence God and walk faithfully within His divine plan and commandments. Close the Gap by Apostle Otis B. Young on Sunday, July 5, 2026

Apostle Otis B. Young delivers a powerful, direct directive on the necessity of emotional discipline and spiritual unity in "Close the Gap." True spiritual warfare is not just about casting out external demons, it is about governing our internal responses. Drawing from the book of Nehemiah and the book of Proverbs, this teaching exposes how a lack of self-control and the presence of negative seed-planters leave the church vulnerable to infiltration. We must stop operating in a form of godliness that lacks the fruit of love. Main Points of the Teaching: -- Guarding Your Internal Environment: True spiritual maturity means remaining completely calm, composed, and unaffected by external drama, criticism, or petty arguments designed to pull you out of character. -- The Deception of Gifts Without Fruit: Having a prayer language or a spiritual gift means nothing if it is not accompanied by the fruit of the Spirit, which is rooted in love, long-suffering, and how we treat people. -- The Trap of Rage Baiting: Certain spirits excel at pushing buttons and playing the victim, requiring believers to intentionally shut down unproductive conversations before they trigger an un-Christ-like response. -- The Mandate for Self-Control: Deliverance without self-control is a revolving door, we must possess our own spirits so we do not continually cycle through the exact same spiritual battles. -- Closing the Gaps for Collective Safety: Just as a single gap in Jerusalem's wall could compromise the entire fortress, gossip, slander, and division within leadership make the house unsafe and block God's increase. -- Lessons from Nehemiah's Discipline: Nehemiah succeeded because he prioritized prayer over panic, refused to retaliate in the flesh, and stayed focused on his great work despite heavy distractions. Celebrating the 250th Birthday of America by Pastor Steve Dow on July 5, 2026

In this pivotal teaching, Pastor Steve Dow marks a historic milestone for America, reflecting on the enduring legacy of the world's longest-running constitutional republic. By looking closely at the original charters, presidential declarations, and historical texts, he exposes the modern lie that America was not founded as a Christian nation. More importantly, he connects the spiritual decisions of our past to the cultural crises of our present, challenging believers to re-engage our communities with the gospel. -- Examining the historical documentation, original colony charters, and explicit statements from founding fathers proving America was built upon biblical doctrine. -- Tracking the dramatic and measurable social, moral, and familial shifts in American culture following the 1962 Supreme Court decision to remove prayer from public schools. -- Analyzing the distinction between rights given by our Creator versus privileges granted by a government that can change with the winds of culture. -- A direct, urgent challenge to the modern church to step outside the comfort of church walls and become a visible, vocal witness for Jesus Christ. False Ideas About Truth - Part 16 - Questions and Answers About Darwinian Evolution by Dr. Joe L. Mott on July 6, 2026

References: (1) An important topic in any discussion of Darwinian evolution is the major problem of blunders, frauds, and forgeries made by evolutionists. How can anyone consider Darwinian evolution to be TRUE if it is characterized by frauds? Would you purchase an insurance policy if the company has a record of frauds? No, but many people accept Darwinian evolution despite its connection with frauds and forgeries. (2) Question 4: Does the Miller-Urey experiment prove that LIFE can be built by natural process? (3) No, the conclusions drawn from the Miller-Urey experiment are no longer considered RELEVANT by the scientific community. In fact, the experiment has been CRITICIZED FOR UNREALISTIC ASSUMPTIONS about early earth atmospherical conditions, methodological FLAWS, and LIMITED APPLICABILITY to the actual origin of life. When it comes to the Miller-Urey experiment things continue to go WRONG and its significance for the origin-of-life question is now perceived as an INVALID EXPERIMENT and IRRELEVANT in terms of justifying the origin of life. The scientific CONSENSUS VIEW of early earth’s atmospheric constituents has CHANGED since the 1950s. (4) Question 5: Do all scientists accept Darwin’s theory of evolution at the cellular level? (5) At present, the scientific mainstream accepts evolutionary mechanisms as the BEST-SUPPORTED EXPLANATION for the diversity and complexity of life, while recognizing that IMPORTANT QUESTIONS — especially concerning the origin of life and the detailed evolutionary history of some molecular systems — REMAIN ACTIVE AREAS of investigation. The disagreement is therefore not over whether cells are extraordinarily complex (they are), but over whether known evolutionary mechanisms are SUFFICIENT TO EXPLAIN how that complexity arose. (6) Question 6. Do the changes in finch beaks, or the changes due to selective breeding, prove Darwin’s theory of evolution? (7) Finch beaks changing is only microevolution which all agree is true. Selective breeding is not “environmental natural factors” as required by Darwin’s theory. Darwin’s theory includes macroevolution where species lead to new species. This has never been observed. (8) Question 7. Does the fossil record support Darwin’s theory of evolution? (9) No, Darwin predicted that IF his theory were correct, there should be evidence that simple life forms gradually developed into more and more complex organisms. Paleontologists generally state that the fossil record does NOT SUPPORT Darwin’s theory in 2 major ways: (a) Animal types tend to appear SUDDENLY (as in the Cambrian Explosion) not gradually, as Darwin predicted. Therefore, each animal type is missing its link to its former ancestor. (b) Animals tend to remain UNCHANGED throughout their time on earth (NOT SLOWLY DEVELOPING into new forms as Darwin predicted). This is episode 283.

How Did We Lose Innocence and Righteousness? by Servant Marcia Carty on July 6, 2026

Have you ever wondered how we fell so far from the productivity, peace, and authority given to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden? In this teaching, Servant Marcia Carty unpacks the historical and spiritual mechanics behind humanity’s loss of innocence. By connecting the parables of Jesus, the warnings of the Old Testament prophets, and the historical context found in the book of Enoch, this message exposes the external spiritual forces that targeted mankind. More importantly, it provides a powerful roadmap for modern believers to crucify the flesh, put on the new man, and live a holy life that stands secure against the coming judgments. -- We were naturally created in the image, likeness, and perfect agreement of God, endowed with total dominion and power to decree. -- The enemy introduced rebellion through angelic intervention, sowing "tears" of wickedness while mankind slept. -- The book of Enoch provides crucial context on the watchers and the birth of the Nephilim, explaining that modern unclean spirits are the disembodied entities left behind after the flood. -- To resist these tormenting, external spiritual influences, believers must actively mortify the flesh and put off anger, malice, and perversion. -- True restoration of our original power and innocence only occurs when we are born again, allowing grace to renew our minds in Christ Jesus. This Great Place Called Heaven and How to Get There by Pastor Henry Miller

The Ultimate Destination: Glimpsing the Reward of the Redeemed In a world that seems to grow more chaotic and painful by the day, it is easy to become discouraged and lose sight of the bigger picture. In this moving message, Pastor Henry Miller dives into the book of Revelation to remind believers of the eternal resting place being prepared for them. Pulling back the curtain on a profound personal vision he experienced years ago, Pastor Miller describes the overwhelming peace, joy, and family reunions that await us in the presence of God. This teaching serves as both a comfort for the suffering and an urgent wake-up call for those clinging too tightly to worldly possessions. Everything we see today will eventually pass away with a fervent heat, leaving behind only what is eternal. Main points covered in this teaching: -- The Eternal Social Order: Heaven is not an extension of this present world, but a completely new environment designed as the ultimate home for the redeemed after a lifetime of faithfulness. -- The Melting World: A stark reminder from 2 Peter 3 that material wealth, expensive cars, and million-dollar homes will ultimately dissolve, proving the vanity of stressing over things we cannot keep. -- Total Restoration and Comfort: How God will personally wipe away every tear of sorrow, eliminating death, pain, grieving, and even the heavy memories of earthly heartaches. -- Known as We Are Known: A comforting look at how our spirits will recognize loved ones, free from the diseases, age, and limitations of our earthly bodies. -- No Second Chances: The vital importance of daily preparation, reminding us that we have no power over the day of our death and there are no "re-dos" once our number is called. Stepping Across the Faith Line by Melinda Carroll

On this episode of An Overcoming Life, hosts Frank and Bobbie Agee welcome Melinda Carroll for a powerful, transparent discussion on "Stepping Across the Faith Line." True biblical faith requires more than prayer, it demands active obedience, final commitments, and a willingness to leave your safety net behind. Melinda shares personal, real-world victories from her time in real estate and her husband's satellite business, alongside a deeply honest account of navigating financial hardship when a trusted venture failed. This message is an essential guide for anyone waiting on a breakthrough or wondering where they missed God when life fell apart. Main points covered in this teaching: -- Faith without works is dead. True faith requires making an irreversible decision and moving past the point of no return, trusting that God will sustain you on the water. -- The key to Abraham's growing faith was praising God before the blessing manifested, proving that thanksgiving is a powerful catalyst for breakthrough. -- God moves when we move. You cannot walk in faith with your foot nailed to the floor, and financial lack is never an excuse that limits God's provision. -- Closed doors and unexpected opposition are not definitive proof that you missed God's will, instead, they serve as vital signposts directing you toward the right open door. -- Believers must train their spirits to rule over their bodies and minds, running the race with strict discipline to secure a heavenly reward that never fades. -- When facing fear or uncertainty, do not wait for the emotion to disappear. Be bold, banish doubt, and step out across the line, doing it afraid if you have to. The Edifying of the Church by Pastor Jack King on Saturday, July 4, 2026

In a world consumed by carnality, the church often finds itself caught in a dangerous state of spiritual amnesia. Pastor Jack King takes us into the heart of 1 Corinthians to examine what it truly means to excel to the edifying and enlightenment of the church. Walking through the historical and moral chaos of ancient Corinth, Pastor King draws a chilling parallel to the modern day, showing how believers frequently default to fleshly habits rather than cultivating a genuine, synchronized relationship with the Holy Spirit. Just like a nation blindsided by an unexpected attack because it failed to realize it was at war, many Christians are entirely oblivious to the spiritual forces working around the clock to steal, kill, and destroy. This message is an urgent wake-up call to abandon carnal mindsets, step out of our comfort zones, and enter the ultimate spiritual command center, the prayer closet. Though the pathway of true spiritual labor is difficult and navigated by few, it is the only avenue through which the strongholds of darkness are shattered and true revival is unleashed. -- The urgent need for spiritual enlightenment and moving past carnal living. -- Lessons from the ancient church of Corinth regarding immorality and the misuse of spiritual gifts. -- Recognizing the authenticity of the Holy Spirit's presence versus forced fleshly demonstrations. -- Understanding our spiritual tools and remembering that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. -- The modern parallel of being in an active spiritual war while living completely oblivious to the enemy. -- Overcoming the fleshly, carnal man to consistently enter the hidden place of prayer. Why Your Prayers Aren't Manifesting (And How to Fix It) by Dr. Edith Davis on July 3, 2026

Many Christians wonder why they do not see the raw power, healing, and supernatural provision of God operating in their daily lives. The answer lies in the crucial distinction between being valuable and being useful to the Kingdom. While every believer holds immense worth, usefulness requires walking in divine wisdom and actively deploying the fruits of the Spirit as weapons of high-level spiritual warfare. By understanding the principles of spiritual authority, learning from the costly mistakes of biblical figures like Solomon and Esau, and practicing true honor toward God's Word, you can position yourself to experience a full dispensation of His blessings and fulfill your unique purpose within your sphere of influence. -- To become useful to the Kingdom of God, a believer must transition from merely possessing knowledge to walking in true wisdom, which means being an active doer of the Word. -- The fruits of the Spirit, such as supernatural love, joy, and peace, are not passive traits but highly effective spiritual weapons designed to dismantle the strongholds of darkness. -- Human love is limited and transactional, but the supernatural agape love of God is completely indestructible, unlimited, and shields believers from the attacks of the enemy. -- Esau's decision to trade his birthright for a bowl of lentils serves as a warning against chasing instant gratification and failing to honor the permanent blessings God has provided. -- Manifestation of healing, provision, and spiritual authority requires deep reverence and active honor toward God, which is demonstrated through obedience, financial tithing, and speaking the Word. A Covenant for America's Second 250 Years - Part 2 by Mike Sharman on July 2, 2026

In the name of God, Amen. 1 We humble ourselves before the divine Author of our individual and national existence 2 and ask Him to provide a safe journey for us and our children through our nation’s next two hundred fifty years. 3 Almighty God rules over the universe. He is the Lord of our bodies and our minds. 4 He presides in the councils of nations. 5 He is the great Provider of all public and private good 6 that was, that is, or that will be. 7 Throughout our history, He has been our constant friend. 8 Humbly we approach His throne with praise for the wonders which He has done and with gratitude for His glorious light of the gospel, whereby, through the merits of the gracious Redeemer, we may ourselves become the heirs of God’s eternal glory. 9 We commit to Him that our first and principal desire is to assist our families and neighbors to come to the true worship of God as He is revealed in the Bible. 10 We acknowledge that the Bible is itself the government of the People, by the People, and for the People. 11 We remain convinced that the only legitimate purpose of government is to promote the welfare of mankind 12 and to secure God-given rights 13, therefore, we should choose leaders who entirely love and will promote the common good. 14 Our public officials need to be praying people and a prayed-for people. 15 We ask the God of Wisdom, the Great Governor of the World, to encourage our leaders to create laws that would honor Him and be in keeping with His Word. 16 We recognize that our blessings of liberty cannot be preserved unless we firmly adhere to 17 the foundations of our national policy which were laid in the eternal rules which God Himself ordained. 18 When we as individuals are not influenced by those moral principles, we look in vain for public virtue. 19 Recognition of the Supreme Being has always been the first and most basic expression of Americanism 20 , but even those who do not believe in God receive the blessings of our nation’s settled and quiet Government 21 because God’s fundamental principles of liberty formed the basis on which our nation’s laws were erected. 22 We realize, however, that we are a nation of differing and often competing faiths, a body politic comprised of freemen, rather than a religious dictatorship imposed upon the unwilling. 23 The manner in which we carry out the duty we owe to our Creator can be directed only by reason and conviction, and not by force or violence. 24 Our citizenship duties are to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity towards each other. 25 Bigotry is simply inconsistent with our declaration 26 that Creator God made all men equally free, endowed with inherent rights for the enjoyment of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. 27 These truths are self-evident and need no other proof 28, and we will not, and can not, sell these gifts from God, or give them away. 29 We depend solely upon the Great Arbiter of the Universe by whom empires rise and fall 30 and the Invisible Hand 31 which has given us the choicest bounties of Heaven. We recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord. We humble ourselves before God’s power, confess our national sins, and pray for His forgiveness. 32 LORD, we sing “In God Is our Trust” to you in a united chorus. 33 Grant us a new birth of freedom in You, so that our government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth 34, but shall continue as one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. 35 All this we ask in the name and through the merits of Jesus Christ Thy Son and Our Savior. 36 +++++++ You can find out more information about Share HealthCare by calling 1-844-Share HC, or by visiting their website: https://sharehealthcare.com/

We Are America! written by Ray Carlton - July 4, 2026

[verse 1] America! America! United so we stand! We trust the Lord Almighty God, and guided by His hand. Life and faith and freedom are, the blessings from on high. Let us celebrate with gratitude, and let "Ole Glory" fly! [chorus] We are America and we are ever strong! We love our country ever so, and to her we belong! Here we are the thankful ones, unto our God above. For liberty and freedom in, this land we ever love! (this land we greatly love) [verse 2] Our Founding Fathers gave us this, One Nation Under God. They freed us all from tyranny, and its oppressive rod. They penned a Constitution for our life and liberty; and gave us this Republic whereby every one is free! [chorus] We are America and we are ever strong! We love our country ever so, and to her we belong! Here we are the thankful ones, unto our God above. For liberty and freedom in, this land we ever love! (this land we greatly love) [verse 3] America, a lighthouse, a city on a hill; a beacon shining ever bright, its freedoms to instill. The Patriots who fight for all, who stand against the foe; give us our lives of liberty, and how we love them so! Let us remember every day, let us remember this; freedom is not free at all, we cannot be remiss. We are America indeed, we are the people who; are blest of God, who pray for her, under Red, White and Blue! (under the Red, White and Blue) [chorus] We are America and we are ever strong! We love our country ever so, and to her we belong! Here we are the thankful ones, unto our God above. For liberty and freedom in, this land we ever love! (this land we greatly love) Written by Ray Carlton

Judgment by Pastor Joshua Limpert on Sunday, June 28, 2026

We have all heard the phrase, "never judge a book by its cover," yet we routinely evaluate the spiritual worth and character of others based purely on outward appearances. In this deep dive into scripture, Pastor Joshua Limpert unpacks why judgment belongs solely to God and how horizontal judgment actively destroys Christian community. By looking at foundational biblical accounts, this message challenges believers to look inward, humble themselves, and recognize that the grace extended to us must be the same grace we extend to a stumbling brother or enemy alike. Here are the main takeaways from this message: -- The grace of God is frequently perverted when believers use it to justify their own compromises while simultaneously holding others to strict, unmerciful standards. -- As seen in the story of King David and the prophet Nathan, we are often quickest to fiercely condemn the exact sins in others that we are secretly guilty of committing ourselves. -- When we project constant judgment onto the people around us, it is usually our own internal guilt and sin nature speaking rather than a reflection of reality. -- Righteous judgment means seeing a stumbling brother or sister and privately praying for them or helping them up, whereas unrighteous judgment gossips to exalt oneself. -- Jesus calls us to a standard that defies human nature, commanding us to love our enemies and pray for our persecutors so that we may truly reflect our Heavenly Father. Scriptures for Further Study -- Jude 1-9 -- 2 Samuel 12:1-12 -- John 8:1-11 -- Matthew 7:1 -- Luke 6:37 -- 1 Corinthians 4:5 +++++++ Find more information on our website: https://www.springsofhopechurch.life/
