from Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip!This week Pip is joined by multi-faceted diamond actor/comic/rapper/host BEN BAILEY SMITH aka DOC BROWN!A lovely episode and first return journey since episode 161 in 2017! Ben's always a welcome guest, and it's a heartening meet-up with two folks here in positions not so dissimilar to one another. Ben has had a good amount of years in the rap game, which he's returning to presently to fabulous reception, and also has heavy previous in the acting world - interestingly both he and Pip have been parts of the Star Wars universe too, so there's that! A really nice ep, with some takes on hip hop history, recognition and memory, Star Wars geekouts, post-blow-up career pivots, returning to rap with producer Tony Bones, sorting out your stage sound as a rapper (ring out your mic!), and how Pip had a direct inspiration on something Ben did later. Good times and always lovely to hear about what's cracking in Ben's lane. Lovely stuff. Enjoy!PIP'S PATREON PAGE if you're of a supporting natureEPISODE 161ONLINEINSTAGRAMDO MORE SAY LESS (new album)IMDBSPEECH DEVELOPMENT WEBSTOREPIP TWITCH • (music stuff)PIP INSTAGRAMPIP TWITTERPIP PATREONPIP IMDBPOD BIBLE Hosted on Acast.
