from Total Mental Performance · host Kyran O'Neill

TMP PODCAST This week we welcome Ben Bray to the podcast. Ben Bray is a coach, bodybuilder, and founder of NEWGEN. We first met prior to the Coach Convention but finally got chatting more after the event.  Ben has such a great energy and he's built an epic team based around the aim to have a positive impact on the industry by walking the walk for clients and changing as many lives as possible. Interestingly, we also have similar backgrounds going from the corporate world into the coaching world.  In the podcast we dive into: Ben’s origin story - starting off in a corporate job, studying business at university while also developing knowledge in nutrition, becoming a bodybuilder, and finding a passion for self-development. How Covid-19 lockdown pushed him to pursue coaching full-time and the scaling process  His football career and how he filled the emotional gap left by football with fitness and personal development The importance of balance as a business owner and how difficult it can be to get this  How to take time out of the business to think, be present, and evaluate effectiveness in different tasks The importance of increasing emotional intelligence and finding time for self-reflection. & much much more. A big thank you to Ben for joining us on the podcast, it definitely is one not to be missed!
