Der heutige Bau der Filialkirche Sankt Johannes Baptist entstand als Nachfolger einer Vorgängerkirche und wurde in der Romanik im 12. Jahrhundert geschaffen. Ein wehrhaft wirkendes Langhaus, dicke Mauern und die halbrunde Apsis aus mächtigem Bruchsteinmauerwerk lassen das hohe Alter erahnen.
