They are incredibly therapeutic.  As we look to scripture, we see there is a theme of at least 4 fascinating garden scenes.  John has studied these 4 places of beauty, and has pulled out the Gospel good news from each of them.  For instance, we have the iconic Garden of Eden that was meant to be a place of sweet fellowship with God, and in the New Testament, we have to the Garden of Gethsamane where Jesus pleaded with his Father.
