Het is Thanksgiving. De Amerikaanse beurs is dicht. Lagarde denkt na over haar diner met mensen als Trump. Ze trekt de conclusie dat het tijd is voor deals. Maar dat is niet het belangrijkste nieuws. Dat is het stukje in het interview met de Financial Times waarin ze Nederlandse tuinders verdedigt tegen de hardnekkige mythe van de wasserbombe, de smaakloze Nederlandse tomaat die Duitsers niet willen eten.
