BFF's (Best Friend's For Life)? 7-25-22

BFF's a term that has been around for a little while now, I am not sure exactly when it began, but I recently became aware of it a few years ago. Personally, I do not know it myself, I had a friend who acted like we were going to be "BFF's"  when we met in 2nd grade, but by the time 3rd grade rolled around, he had completely discarded me. What are your experiences? do you have a BFF? or friends from childhood until today? or are you a loner? or somewhere in the middle. Here is my story, or at least part of it, on experiences that I remember growing up as a child, and how I still remember vivid details that most folks my age have long forgotten. I hope that by talking about it, I can move on, stop grinding an axe and living in the past and become a happier more well developed person with  healthy acquaintenships.  That is a good term, "acquaintance" ideally that is what one should aspire for initially in socialization, for that can develop into a good friendship, or it can stay the way it is, but at least being "acquainted" with others is better than being disconnected.
