'City government changed,' says STL Today Columnist Bill McClellan since he formed his original stance about state control of the St Louis Metropolitan Police Dept. 'When i talked to cops, I was sympathetic to them,' explains McClellan. He says, 'there doesn't seem like there's much give and take,' between the appointed board and the St Louis City government. 'Its not team St Louis, its team police department [vs] team St Louis, fighting each other.'
