St Louis Metropolitan Police Chief Robert Tracy joins Chris and Amy to react to the police union's criticism of Mayor Cara Spencer's appearance at an officer's funeral; Spencer visits the studio to share her view on the story, calling out the union and chief for mischaracterizing the alleged conversation; Chris and Amy react to the lengthy interviews and criticize the 'adversarial relationship,' between the Mayor and Police, that they blame on the state run police board.

St Louis Mayor Cara Spencer joins Chris & Amy in-studio. She shares that she attended Officer Kevin Bradford's funeral, and struck up a conversation with some of his police academy graduates, who's motivation to be officers should 'inspire us all.' 'The compensation piece,' is an important part of the conversation about policing, says Spencer. She says that the officers didn't indicate that they were uncomfortable with the conversation. 'I was just floored by the comments by the police union, frankly & by the police chief,' says Spencer.

St Louis Metropolitan Police Chief Robert Tracy joins Chris and Amy. He's responding to allegations from the police union, that Mayor Cara Spencer held conversations with recent police academy graduates at an officer's funeral. 'We got to keep it focused on why we were there,' says Tracy. 'The union and I both represent the police officers,' says Tracy, 'this is not the place [a funeral] to have these type of conversations.' 'I'm taking it as an apology for the whole incident,' says Tracy of Spencer. 'I'll never turn down resources,' says Tracy of utilizing federal resources to address violent crime in the city.

Financial planner Dave Simons; Chris wants more people to 'inch into intersection' to make a left turn; KMOV's Jacob Cerosimo on the Cardinals season & Joshua Báez's debut; should you make your way into an intersection or honk at others who don't?
