Mike Elam continues his visit with Chris. They chat with the Executive Director of Teach For America Missouri about Gen Z; how expensive are some zoos nationwide; Matt Sebek joins to promote a World Cup soccer watch party; climbers have reached the top of the Empire State building.

St Louis CITY SC Chief Experience Officer Matt Sebek joins Chris Rongey and Mike Elam ahead of the USA/Bosnia World Cup match. 'What surprised us is the amount of people that have never been to a professional game, or they've never watched a professional game before,' who are paying attention to the World Cup. "Our opportunity is to attach ourself to the new fans,' of soccer, says Sebek. 'We're hoping that out of this world cup we see a tremendous amount of new fans in the building,' coming to CITY SC games.

"Gen Z wants to do meaningful work," says Julie Gronquist, Executive Director at Teach for America Missouri. She joins Chris Rongey and Mike Elam, and refers to a study showing 89% of Gen Z reporting that a sense of purpose is important for job satisfaction and overall well-being, which leads them to teaching careers.

Meidas Touch Chief Washington Correspondent Scott MacFarlane joins Chris and Mike Elam, reacting to the numerous Supreme Court announcements over the past several days, 'they just firehose,' decisions at us. The tight birthright citizenship decision was the key one yesterday for many, and 'the reaction has not been muted,' says MacFarlane of what he's seeing from people in Washington. Comments on transgender athlete participation; campaign finance restrictions lifted; mail balloting. 'A divide on things that people thought were no-brainers,' is how MacFarlane evaluates this current Supreme Court, 'a divided court.' He calls the NPR mistaken report of a retirement for Justice Samuel Alito, 'a disaster.'

Mike Elam joins Chris for the length of the show as Amy Marxkors remains out on vactaion; where is the hot spot for World Cup viewing?; Mike likes Kenny Chesney and the Sphere in Las Vegas; how did the Saint Louis Zoo pick up another top rating?; Did you see this? the worst processed food.

St. Louis Zoo Director Michael Macek joins Chris Rongey and Mike Elam as the Zoo has been listed by USA Today as the 'Best Free Attraction' in the United States. "Being one of the few free zoos left in the country is a big part of it," says Macek. He credits the people who work at the Zoo, both in front of the visitors and behind the scenes. Macek says the visitors come for the animals, but stick around for the people!

John Hancock in with Chris Rongey again today. SLU hoops Coach Josh Schertz in t he 1st hour previewing an open practice this week for fans; Hour two includes Dave Simons grades the stock market at mid-year; Jacob Cersosimo from Matrix Midwest on the Cardinals at midpoint of the season; Hour 2 welcomes State Senator Brian Williams and his run for STL County Exec; and ABC's Steven Portnoy on SCOTUS decisions.

Missouri State Senator Brian Williams joins Chris and John Hancock. He's in the race for St. Louis County Executive. That primary is coming up in early August. He talks about the importance of the relationship between the City and County & state leaders; a looming budget issue facing the county; and efforts to grow the county's population.

Memory chip demand is driving the cost of your personal technology, says Time Worthy Research Tech Analyst Ian Sherr as Microsoft and Apple are hiking prices. Mike Miller, associate editor for St Louis Magazine, joins Hancock and Chris with details on a searchlight that has been on the roof of University City's City Hall since 1903. The building was built to house a magazine publisher's office, and the light was used to bring people to the offices ahead of the 1904 Worlds Fair. 'Marketing in the very purest sense of the word,' says Miller. It could shine again.
