He's responding to allegations from the police union, that Mayor Cara Spencer held conversations with recent police academy graduates at an officer's funeral. 'We got to keep it focused on why we were there,' says Tracy. 'The union and I both represent the police officers,' says Tracy, 'this is not the place [a funeral] to have these type of conversations.' 'I'm taking it as an apology for the whole incident,' says Tracy of Spencer. 'I'll never turn down resources,' says Tracy of utilizing federal resources to address violent crime in the city.
