BILL PULTE UNLOCKS HOUSING WAR, MSNBC ADMITS HIS POWER | WAR ROOM AM W STEVE BANNON | (EP.#5672) (EP.#5673)

Steve Bannon welcomes FHFA Director Bill Pulte live in studio. Pulte oversees Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Federal Home Loan Banks — the backbone of the U.S. mortgage market — and reports to President Trump, a builder laser-focused on housing. Bannon notes an unusual lineup — Chris Hayes, Nicolle Wallace, Jonathan Swan, and Jon Stewart — treating Pulte's housing post as one of the most important jobs in the country. The War Room frames that rare agreement as the reason Pulte is in studio: to define the job on his terms, not theirs. THE HOUSING FIGHT Pulte is asked what the director actually oversees and what the Trump administration is doing on affordability, younger buyers, and the housing pipeline. Bannon tees it as the core fight, not a side issue — rates, supply, GSEs, and who gets a shot at a first home. Bannon also flags Pulte's brief acting DNI stint in summer 2026 while he kept the housing job. This clip starts on housing first: what the office is, what it controls, and why Trump put a homebuilder's grandson on it. Can Washington actually unlock starter homes for the next generation — or is the housing market still rigged against them? #WarRoom #SteveBannon #BillPulte #HousingCrisis #FHFA #FannieMae #FreddieMac #Trump #Affordability #RealAmericasVoice #Homeownership #WarRoomAM Welcome to the War Room.
