Explore the similarities and differences from a traditional outpatient orthopedic clinic to treating man’s best friend - helping dogs move, recover, and thrive.Dr. Julia Rogers PT, DPT, CCRT earned her B.S. in biology from Centre College before attending Franklin Pierce University in Goodyear AZ to earn her doctorate in Physical Therapy. After graduating, she worked in outpatient orthopedic clinics around the valley before discovering that canine rehabilitation was an option for her. Her desire to be a veterinarian at a young age helped transition to her decision to pursue canine rehab and became the perfect blend of helping dogs and using her PT skills and knowledge.She obtained her certification in canine rehab at Canine Rehabilitation Institute (CRI) in about 3 months and began working soon after that.
