BIRDS-I-VIEW April: THE FILM INDUSTRY

In the April edition of “Birds-I-View” Colleen Holden, Lauren Leisure and Bella Marello took a look at the history, future, development, and local impacts of the film industry. The show opened with Bella Marello looking into the annual local Foxtail Film Festival that took place this weekend (1:38-4:39). Following this, Jaden Cohn focused on the student perspective on film by speaking with Illinois State University’s film society (5:05-7:49). Next, Nate Cihak took a look at the production and impact of documentaries (8:28-11:06). Colleen Holden dived into the social and cultural impact of film (11:28-14:25). Then, Ben Howell spoke on the extensive history of film (15:09-18:25). The show closed with Lauren Leisure looking into the future of the film industry (18:46-21:04).
