Park birds dive bombed Des like she owed them money. She is convinced they sensed her lifelong distrust and made it their mission to finish her. Cory offered moral support while she fought for her life against wings and audacity 🐦Then came the Turo situation. A casual late-night message about roach traps that “could be placed in the car” for an additional undisclosed $25. No big deal. Just a light mental breakdown imagining roaches in the car, the hotel room, the suitcase and relocating permanently back home with them. 🪳There was also an unhinged musician at the pool who was deeply offended by his speaker and made sure the entire resort felt it. It was giving tropical tantrum. You could not escape it.And because the universe was not done humbling her, Des encountered an absolutely foul surprise in a bathroom stall at SEA airport.
