I’m so glad you’re here.Bless the Lord, O my soul. Reading the passage from Psalm 103 this morning brought a smile to my face. When I first sat down, frothed coffee in hand, of course, I stared at the artificial firelight flickering gently in my little red furnace. My toes wriggled inside soft snuggly socks. My thumbs slipped between the slots to grip the cuff edges of my grey hoodie with a cheetah print on it. Daddy’s oh-so-soft blanket was within reach. The words, “I’m so blessed,” slipped quietly past my lips. And then I read.”Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.“ Psalm 103:1-5 ESVIndeed. Father satisfies me with good, and my heart is renewed. My life is redeemed from the pit. I’m forgiven. His love and mercy rain down on my life daily, and I am refreshed. Oh! Bless His holy name. Consider this day the blessings in your life. Don’t leave anything out. If we were sitting next to each other, I’d challenge each of us to shout out God’s blessings in our lives. What would you say?I’d love to hear how Father is showing up in your life. Let’s journey together.Father, I praise your holy name. Your mercies and grace abound, and I am so grateful. Hear my words, O Lord. Listen as I speak your blessings out loud, I am comforted by You in the storms. My needs are met. My heart is strong. My body is warm. My eyes are bright. All because of You, Abba. Thank You, thank You, thank you. In Jesus’ name. Hallelujah.Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves, do what it says. James 1:22May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do. Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb, and I’m so glad we are on this journey together with Father.Staying Real Just Got Easier!Discover Your God-Designed PersonalityFollow Linda Goldfarb on FacebookLeave a comment for Linda and HeatherCheck out Linda's BooksCheck out Heather's Books
