Jesus’ third Beatitude, “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth,” reveals that meekness is not weakness but strength surrendered to God. Through the examples of Jesus, Moses, and Joseph, this message shows that biblical meekness is power under control, marked by humility, gentleness, self-control, and complete trust in the Father’s will. Because believers are adopted into God’s family through Christ, they receive both a future inheritance in the new creation and a present calling to cultivate flourishing wherever God has placed them.
