Empty Hands | Matthew 5 | Melvin Martinez
In this sermon, Pastor Melvin Martinez explores the first Beatitude, Matthew 5:3, teaching that the Kingdom of God begins not with strength, achievement, or religious performance, but with complete dependence on God. Jesus describes the “poor in spirit” as those who come before Him with empty hands, recognizing their need for His grace and mercy. Through stories, Scripture, and the example of Christ Himself, Pastor Melvin emphasizes three key invitations: Come Empty, Stay Near, and Carry Him. Rather than striving to become more like Jesus through effort alone, believers are transformed by spending time in His presence until His character naturally begins to shape their lives. As God fills surrendered hearts, they become carriers of His love, peace, and grace to the people around them, bringing Kingdom culture wherever they go.Scripture References:Matthew 5:3-10Matthew 5:3Luke 18:13Philippians 2:6-72 Corinthians 2:14-15John 4

When Heaven Meets Earth | Matthew 6 | Seth Tomboli
In this kickoff message of the Kingdom Culture: Beatitudes series, Pastor Seth challenges our understanding of what it means to live a truly blessed life. Drawing from Jesus’ teachings in the Sermon on the Mount, he explains that followers of Christ live in the tension of the “now and not yet” Kingdom of God—citizens of heaven who are still living on earth. While the world defines blessing through success, comfort, power, and status, Jesus turns those values upside down, declaring the poor in spirit, the meek, the merciful, the peacemakers, and those who hunger for righteousness to be truly blessed. As ambassadors of Christ, believers are called to carry Kingdom culture into a broken world, allowing God to transform them from the inside out so they can be salt and light wherever they go.Scripture References:Colossians 1:9–12Matthew 6:9–13 (The Lord’s Prayer)John 17:14–16John 17:15Matthew 5:1–10 (The Beatitudes)Romans 1:16Galatians 2:202 Corinthians 5:17Matthew 5:13–16

Spring Cleaning | Clarence Simpson
In this message, Pastor Clarence explores how God wants to do “spring cleaning” in our hearts just like we do in our homes. Using Psalm 51, this sermon walks through the importance of confronting spiritual clutter like sin, bitterness, distraction, anxiety, and unforgiveness that can slowly weigh us down and distance us from God. True renewal doesn’t come from simply changing behavior, but from allowing God to create a clean heart, restore our joy, and renew our spirit through daily surrender and consistent relationship with Him. No matter how long the clutter has been there, God still restores hearts that are willing to let Him in.

Three Questions to Ask Yourself | Seth Tomboli
In this message, “Three Questions to Ask Yourself,” Seth Tomboli challenges believers to examine the questions shaping the direction of their lives. Drawing from the way Jesus often answered questions with questions, the sermon explores how our deepest questions reveal the condition of our hearts. Seth walks through three key self-examination questions: Am I asking for God’s will or asking God to bless mine? Do I love following Jesus more than my comfort? and Am I expecting people, stuff, and circumstances to do what only Jesus can do? Throughout the message, listeners are encouraged to stop obsessing over what God has hidden and start obeying what He has already revealed through His Word.Using personal testimony, humor, biblical teaching, and practical examples, the sermon calls Christians to surrender comfort, embrace obedience, renew their minds, and find true contentment in Christ alone. Rather than chasing approval, possessions, or perfect circumstances, Seth reminds the church that peace and fulfillment are found only in Jesus. The message closes with Jesus’ invitation in Matthew 7 to “Ask, Seek, Knock,” encouraging every listener to answer the ultimate question: Who do you say that Jesus is?

Not IF, But WHEN | Daniel 3 | Seth Tomboli
Happy Mother’s Day New Life Church. Today, Pastor Seth centers on the theme "Not IF, but WHEN," emphasizing that trials and challenges are inevitable in the life of a believer. Using the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace, scripture teaches that faith is not formed by hardship but revealed through it. We are encouraged to prepare our faith in advance—developing a strong identity in Christ, resisting worldly influences, and committing to obedience—so that we can stand firm when trials come. The sermon highlights the importance of “even if” faith, trusting God regardless of outcomes, and relying on His presence and grace in the fire.Sermon Recap: https://docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/1nfaQrPeYVGzm9yT10DuAWaour_G2K8eAl9uIGQXmpYY/mobilebasic

Episode 40: The Battle Between Your Old Self and New Life
In this episode, we unpack Colossians 3 and what it really means to live a resurrected lifestyle. We talk about “grave clothes," the old habits, thought patterns, and comforts we continue returning to even after Christ has set us free. From being ruled by the peace of Christ to staying rooted in the Word, we explore how spiritual growth happens over time through obedience, endurance, and surrender.💬 If this encouraged you, share it with someone you love who’s trying to walk in freedom.

Living a Resurrected Lifestyle | Colossians 3 | Chandler Braxton
Pastor Chandler teaches us that because Jesus has made us alive in Him, we are called to live differently. Using the picture of Lazarus coming out of the grave, it emphasizes that many believers are alive in Christ but still wearing “grave clothes” from their old life. Paul’s instructions in Colossians 3:15–17 show us how to live out this new life: by letting the peace of Christ rule our hearts, allowing the Word of Christ to dwell in us deeply, and making every part of our lives about the glory of Jesus. A resurrected life isn’t just about what we leave behind—it’s about who we become in Christ and how we reflect Him in everything we do.Sermon Recap:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Js-Wmy9ZcM038G7oK0ymy0vkn6unPRvOqvwIB3hVeFw/preview?tab=t.0

What is Killing My Walk With God | Colossians 2 | Seth Tomboli
Today, Pastor Seth teaches us Paul's words to the Colossians that teach us that before Christ, we were spiritually dead in our sins, completely separated from God and incapable of saving ourselves. This challenges the common notion of “living like you are dying” with the teaching in Colossians that believers are made alive in Christ and therefore should live like it. The message today calls Christians to fully embrace their new life by putting to death old sinful habits and setting their hearts and minds on things above. Jesus’ sacrifice is sufficient, so we must be wary of false teachings, and live this changed life rooted in grace, mercy, and faith. We must put to death the old ways of our flesh and put on the newness the Lord has in store for us!Sermon Recap:https://docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/1RT6uoYeckFepy3CBFgSfFxfd6wi1p-zwQPBtQmzNZdY/mobilebasic

Jesus Over All | Colossians 1 | Seth Tomboli
Today Pastor Seth emphasizes the importance of cultivating an insatiable spiritual hunger for God, likening it to physical hunger that drives human behavior. The text in Colossians from Paul warns against false teachings that diminish the supremacy of Jesus Christ and stresses the necessity of rooting our lives fully in Him. Paul’s message calls believers to proclaim Jesus as supreme over all aspects of life, to be admonished and taught by Scripture and the Holy Spirit, and to surround themselves with a community that encourages spiritual growth. Ultimately, it challenges the church to be a “hungry church” that seeks more of Jesus daily, allowing Him to transform every area of life.Sermon Recap: https://docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/1Fv1G2Hp5YGRXPX_FX8-DVsuo99MUYQSWy2naM-iFfM4/mobilebasi

An Undeniable Faith | Colossians 1 | Seth Tomboli
Pastor Seth starts our new series in Colossians today. His sermon today focuses on the importance of not just hearing or reading the Word of God, but allowing it to transform and shape our lives. The need for both evangelism ("go") and discipleship ("grow"), encourages us as believers to live deeply rooted in faith and to live out our beliefs daily. Our faith must move from knowledge in the head to transformation in the heart, resulting in actions that reflect Jesus.Sermon Recap: https://docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/1Wh0NxmkViDmRjQTCdbwcr2GXc_mxHMY-qaW2jpjHQMI/mobilebasic

It highlights God’s steadfast love and mercy, the personal nature of salvation, and Jesus' heart to meet us exactly where we are in life, regardless of doubts, struggles, or past mistakes. Episode 37: The One Thing Most Christians Avoid (But Jesus Modeled First)
In this episode, we unpack Jesus washing the disciples’ feet in John 13 and what it really means to live with a servant’s heart. The disciples walked closely with Jesus but still didn’t grab the towel. We talk about how it’s possible to be around God, learn from Him, and still miss the heart of serving others. It’s easy to sit in church, learn, and grow, but never actually step into serving others. We talk about the difference between being a disciple and being a servant, the danger of becoming a “bloated Christian,” and how shifting your posture from consumption to service changes everything. Following Jesus isn’t just about what we receive, it’s about how we give.💬 If this challenged you, share it with someone you love who’s ready to take the next step in their faith.

Attitude of a Servant | John 13 | Richard Eberle
Richard Eberle shares the profound moment of Jesus washing his disciples' feet during the Last Supper. Jesus knows that this is His last moment with them, He knew the power God had given Him, He knew that Judas would betray Him, and He knew the hearts of the Disciples. Yet with the radical nature of servant leadership He shows, it contrasts the disciples' prideful and arrogant hearts and attitudes. Jesus knelt down, and washed their feet. And He asks us to pass this posture of service on to others. To be at the service of God is to be at the service of others. We can never be too big for the small messes otherwise we become too small for the big things God wants to do in our lives. The practice of being a servant please God, fulfills our calling and brings blessing and happiness to our lives. So what are you going to do with the towel?

Make Space for Grace | Book of Jonah | Jonathan Hill
Jonathan Hill delivers a powerful sermon on the biblical prophet Jonah. Drawing from his personal journey of spiritual resistance and eventual surrender, Hill challenges listeners to confront their own reluctance to follow God's direction, particularly when called to minister to those they might consider enemies or undeserving of grace. No one is beyond God's redemption and true Christian discipleship requires complete surrender, stepping out of comfort zones, and actively pursuing God's mission. We are all in desperate need of God’s mercy. And reaching the lost is paramount to a faithful follower of Christ.

Carry Them Home | Mark 2 | Clarence Simpson
Pastor Clarence Simpson continues our series “LOST.” In Mark 2, four friends carry a paralyzed man to Jesus. With many perspectives to look at within this passage of scripture - Today’s message emphasizes the importance of actively supporting and bringing people to Christ, rather than merely expressing passive concern. The lost need carriers…not criticism for what they’re going through. Spiritual transformation happens when believers intentionally "carry" those who are spiritually stuck or hopeless, demonstrating that true care requires action, persistence, and a willingness to go beyond to see the lost brought to the feet of Jesus.Sermon Recap: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Js-Wmy9ZcM038G7oK0ymy0vkn6unPRvOqvwIB3hVeFw/preview?tab=t.0

You Have Not Been This Way Before | Joshua 3 | Seth Tomboli
Pastor Seth preaches on the Israelites crossing the Jordan River under Joshua's leadership, which shows us what spiritual growth and overcoming obstacles looks like in our own life. Faith begins where familiarity ends, and as believers we must be willing to step into unknown territories trusting God's guidance. Lost people need a map - stuck people need a nudge! The sermon highlights seven primary reasons people become spiritually "stuck": fear of the unknown, comfort, unforgiveness, pride, unconfessed sin, concern about others' opinions, and being trapped by past experiences. How To Get Your Passion Back | Seth Tomboli
Pastor Seth opens up a new series this morning titled “Lost” focused on increasing our awareness of those who are lost as we lead up to Easter. Today, Pastor Seth teaches us about “Familiarity.” The truth is, we can be close to Jesus and be closed off to Jesus at the same time. When Jesus returns to his hometown of Nazareth, we can see how familiarity can breed spiritual complacency and diminish faith. Proximity to Jesus does not automatically equate to intimacy with Him. Familiarity reduces our awe, blinds us with pride, allows us to replace pursuit with routine, and numbs us with complacency. Thankfully…the solution is WONDER, the remedy to our familiarity is Wonder…to turn and repent! Jesus is ready and available for you at all times!Sermon Recap:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1t32M6kYxQnzHh1wc9Omcz-hNnxrVsAL2tHLAi193gcg/preview?tab=t.0

Can I Judge People? | Matthew 7 | Seth Tomboli
Pastor Seth unpacks Matthew 7 and clarifies that Jesus is not forbidding discernment, but condemning a judgmental spirit. We are called to judge rightly—with humility, self-examination, and a heart for restoration—rather than with pride, harshness, or hypocrisy. Before addressing the “speck” in someone else’s eye, we must first confront the “plank” in our own by fixing our eyes on Jesus. The goal is not condemnation but rescue, not courtroom verdicts but hospital healing—reflecting Christ, who came full of grace and truth to save, not to condemn.Sermon Recap: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uxgM-CH4J4wLHIdgzhytY-56VCsuF2X929hjMStoUeI/preview?tab=t.0

How Is Your Soul? | Matthew 6 | Marcus Brown
Pastor Marcus Brown explores the concept of spiritual "eyesight" using Matthew 6:22-23, emphasizing that the condition of one's heart determines how they perceive and experience life spiritually. Various influences like media, news, music, and pride can "tint" or obstruct spiritual vision. We get to decide how much light of the Gospel gets into our life. If we have lost it, it’s important to remove the tint and get our spiritual sight back. David’s cry in Psalm 51 gives us a great look into what it means to rend our heart and restore it! Do Not Worry About Your Life | Matthew 6 | Seth Tomboli
Pastor Seth, continuing our series from The Sermon On The Mount, explores the biblical perspective on worry and anxiety. Anxiety stems from a desire for control and misplaced trust, rather than placing faith in God. In this episode, the team walks through the Sermon on the Mount and explains why this command isn’t a suggestion—it’s part of what we signed up for as Christians. They talk about our instinct to “qualify” obedience (Who is my neighbor? Who is my enemy?), how the Kingdom of God flips cultural instincts upside down, and why loving people always comes with a cost. You’ll also hear a powerful discussion on how to love without affirming sin, how to welcome people without requiring them to “clean themselves up first,” and why Jesus consistently meets people where they are—then calls them out of sin with grace and truth. What Jesus Means by "Love Your Enemy" | Matthew 5 | Seth Tomboli
As we explore Jesus Sermon on the Mount, today we dive into Jesus command to love one's enemies from Matthew 5. Loving those who hurt us is IMPOSSIBLE through human effort alone, but becomes achievable through Christ's power within us, in fact Jesus had to love his enemies too. Jesus was speaking to those devoted to Him, his disciples(all gathered around him, not just the 12 we commonly hear about). We have to remember, in following Christ, we signed up for this. And to love like Christ our love must first be rooted IN Christ. Jesus is removing the Loophole for us, and commands us to do likewise in loving others!Sermon Recap:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NDr7oyS8id45xZ8nJ1Lna8vGyvJ-pM7aMXedtafl9dY/preview?tab=t.0

Being an Influencer | Matthew 5 | Mark Pagley
Pastor Mark Pagley kicks off our new series on the sermon on the mount. Matthew 5:13-16 tells us that we are to be salt and light in this world. We are to be influencers to those around us. We have no idea how God might use one word - moment - one generous expression in the life of another person to move them towards the amazing grace of Jesus. Our influence always starts with the person in front of us, not the platform, and sometimes it may take a while before we see the outcome of the influence we have with others. Misinformed | Genesis 3 | Kevin Atkinson
Pastor Kevin Atkinson joins us this morning preaching on what the Bible says about misinformation. Misinformation has always shaped human behavior, just look at Genesis 3 with Adam and Eve! Modern culture is flooded with information that can confuse and distort truth, and in the beginning, sin introduced a deceptive landscape where God’s instructions were questioned. The enemy’s subtle strategy involved planting a deceptive idea, appealing to a distorted desire, and ultimately leading to destructive behavior. By twisting the truth rather than creating lies outright, the enemy convinced Eve to question God’s authority and pursue a shortcut instead of trusting God’s process. This message today challenges us to be cautious about what voices and questions we give mental space to and to trust that God’s ways are always best.Sermon Recap: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17pAgrAGKlUmCnvsKLWKlrjvEAPIcRtUj08jjNanMDbE/preview?tab=t.0

Jehovah Tsaba - The Lord Our Warrior | Mason Andrews
This Sunday, Pastor Mason uses the story of David and Goliath to reveal God as Jehovah Tsaba — The Lord Our Warrior, the One who fights on our behalf. Just like Israel faced a literal giant, we face spiritual and emotional giants that taunt us day after day: fear, grief, addiction, insecurity, comparison, and more. But the story teaches us that (1) giants are big and persistent, (2) they don’t stand a chance when God steps in as our representative, and (3) we defeat them by changing our perspective—focusing on God’s faithfulness instead of the size of our problem—and by going on the offense through action and obedience. When God brings victory, we share it with others to build faith and remind the church that Jehovah Tsaba is still fighting for His people today.Sermon Recap: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1viLnitxq77qPNKspsP3BZTmUo3uZ6dOxGtj8bZZc6h8/preview?tab=t.0

Jehovah Shalom - The God of Peace | Caleb Pagley
Pastor Caleb Pagley joins us this morning to break down the name Jehovah Shalom, The God of Peace. Peace is more than just a feeling or absence of conflict, but as a divine presence embodied by God Himself. Peace can be broken down into three key theological perspectives: God the Father as the Lord of Peace, Jesus Christ as the Prince of Peace, and the Holy Spirit as the source of peace. We don’t chase after peace, we choose it from the LORD. And consistent practice of peace in our lives returns fruitful in all situations as the Spirit matures peace within us.Sermon Recap: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Pwz7vrKuC_Zp4gWdhJ5AcxfzPkNzBNwJzgiRbmwsQxc/preview?tab=t.0

Pastor Nick Bertin shares the concept of Jesus not just being a Savior, but also Lord of one's life. He challenges us today to move beyond a surface-level faith that merely acknowledges salvation, and instead embrace a relationship where Christ has complete authority. Obedience in our life always requires sacrifice. It may be difficult, and it will cost us something to fully obey after Him, but the sacrifice is always worth it. Just like the wedding isn’t the marriage…The goal is not just the salvation moment but the journey in following Him daily!

The Lord is my Shepherd | John 10 | Mason Andrews
Pastor Mason's message centers on God as Jehovah Rohi, “The Lord is my Shepherd,” revealing His deep care, guidance, and protection for His people. Like sheep, we are prone to wander, fear, and attempt to lead ourselves, yet only the Good Shepherd knows what’s best for us. Jesus, our Good Shepherd, not only protects and provides for us—He corrects us in love to bring us back to the right path. Through stories, Scripture, and reflection, the message challenges believers to stop striving to lead their own lives and instead fully submit to the Shepherd’s voice. Ultimately, it reminds us that Jesus is still pursuing the lost, calling each of us by name, and carrying us home to safety and abundant life in Him.Sermon Recap:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1viLnitxq77qPNKspsP3BZTmUo3uZ6dOxGtj8bZZc6h8/preview?tab=t.0

God Our Father | Romans 8 | Brandon Cotten
Pastor Brandon Cotten joins us this morning as we open a new series on the names of God. Our relationship with God is a familial connection rather than a transactional business arrangement. Through Christ, Christians are adopted as children of God, with full inheritance rights, unconditional love, and direct access to their Heavenly Father. Pastor Brandon challenges us to move beyond a fear-based, performance-driven spiritual approach to understanding God's love as parental, nurturing, and unconditional.

Just One More Soul | Luke 15 | Mark Pagley
Pastor Mark Pagley finished out the vision series today with this sermon “Just One More Soul.” We see through Luke 15, three parables given by Jesus. The parable of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son. All of these stories have three things in common: something in the right place, something in the wrong place(lost), and a person representing God. We learn from these parables God’s focus is the same - a heart focused on the lost. This was the original design for following Jesus, and if our version of following Him does not lead us to reaching others…it’s not the right design. We can’t allow distance in our following of Jesus, because that’s when we lose focus and our heart changes. The “end-times” kind of christianity can either be us rowing away, content in our own salvation, or risking everything to go get one more soul. What will you choose?

Episode 25: When God’s Blessings Become Excuses
This week we talk about Pastor Seth’s message “It’s Go Time” and how easy it is to let blessings become excuses that keep us from full obedience to God. Between hilarious Sunday moments and some real talk about obedience, we share stories of worship, family, and learning to go deeper in friendships and faith. We remind ourselves that every good gift from God is meant to be used for His glory — not as an excuse to stay comfortable.💬 If this encouraged you, share it with someone you love who might need the reminder too.00:00 – Welcome back & Sunday chaos 03:42 – Worship stories and “joyful noise” moments 10:10 – Funny Sunday moments16:58 – Seth’s “Go Time” vision and the church survey 23:44 – When blessings become excuses for disobedience 30:25 – Seeing God in everyday moments 38:10 – Getting past surface conversations with friends 49:02 – How to steward blessings instead of idolizing them 58:21 – Final reflections: We’re blessed to be a blessing

Invitation to Change | Seth Tomboli
Pastor Seth explores the challenging concept of true discipleship. While Jesus extends a wide invitation to all people, He also presents a narrow expectation of complete surrender. Centered on Luke 14 and John 5, following Christ requires more than passive participation—it demands active transformation. God invites everyone to His table, but discipleship requires a willingness to change, give up everything, and move forward from our past limitations. Grace is free but growth will cost us! The prayer is simple “God. Change. Me.”
