She told me that she really struggles with the unexpected waves of grief that appear and wipe her out emotionally and she'd like to explore that more - why do they come? will they always come? and how can we navigate them? We might all find ourselves telling others that waves of grief are normal and part of the journey, we have the head knowledge, but when we experience them, when we are wiped out completely by one, it can be incredibly hard to understand and process.
