Blues For Julie
from Silvio Vinci Hosted by Silvio Vinci
BLUES FOR JULIE (reworking go Blues For Julie, instrumental by Silvio Vinci) Julie came by in the morning, sunlight falling through her hair, I was looking for an answer, she just smiled and left it there. Blues for Julie, slow and easy, sweet and low, Blues for Julie, there are things she’ll never know. Julie moves across the city, like a shadow dressed in gold, every word she leaves behind her turns a little blue and cold. Blues for Julie, let that old wheel roll around, Blues for Julie, hear the organ crying down. Maybe I’ll see her tomorrow, maybe somewhere down the line, I’ll just leave this blues for Julie— and let the last note take its time.
